You Can't Pray For Someone To Get Saved

Proverbs 27:1, “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”

I have often heard Christians say such unbiblical things as, “I am praying for his salvation” or “Please pray for so and so to come to Christ.” Unfortunately, all such praying is in vain, simply because God has given to every human being a free will to decide for ourselves. God never forces anybody to trust His only begotten Son to be saved.

If you are concerned about someone's eternal destination, then all you can do is pray for God to give them another opportunity to be saved. You can pray for God to work in their life and heart with Holy Spirit conviction. But you cannot pray for God to make someone get saved.

I don't like it when people ask me to pray for someone's salvation, because that is not a reasonable prayer request. John 5:40, “And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” Carefully notice that Jesus didn't say “ye cannot come”; but rather, “ye will not come.” God offers His “free gift” (Romans 5:15-18) of eternal life to every human being.

I vehemently detest the heresies of reprobate John Calvin (1509-1564), who is sadly burning in Hell forever. Calvin foolishly taught that Christ didn't die for all men (aka, the heresy of “Limited Atonement”). What saith the Scripture? 1st John 2:2, “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” The inspired Word of God couldn't be more clear that Jesus died for ALL MEN, not just for the saints. Sadly, Pastor Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892) was a 2-point Calvinist who taught the same tommyrot, poppycock and balderdash of Limited Atonement. Spurgeon also taught the Calvinist heresy of the Perseverance of the Saints (aka, the damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation).

You can pray for God to send a soulwinner to share the Gospel with a lost person, but you cannot pray for their salvation. Granted, I think when most people pray for a lost sinner's “salvation,” they don't literally mean for God to force them to be saved; but rather, to work in that person's life in hope that at some point in the future they will come to Christ in faith to be saved. So, I wouldn't criticize someone for praying for another sinner's salvation.

That being said, I wrote this blog to teach you that God never forces anyone to respond favorably to the light of the truth of the Gospel. Jesus plainly said in John 5:40, “And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” That is why we are told in Jude 1:22-23, “And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” We certainly can and should do all that is possible to lead lost sinners to Jesus with the Gospel, but they alone must make the decision, we cannot make it for them.

Only A Fool Is Slow To Believe The Inspired Words Of God

Acts 28:23-27, “And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he [the Apostle Paul] expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening. And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not. And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”

The Apostle Paul was being horribly persecuted and prosecuted for preaching the Gospel. He calls for the chief leaders among the Jews to hear his petition This is the context surrounding our text passage from Acts chapter 28. I love this chapter of the inspired Holy Bible. Our text passage says that Paul expounded the Jewish leaders from morning until evening with the Word of God. Yet, at the end of the day only some believed, others did not believe.

I encourage you to read Acts chapter 28. It is an amazing passage of inspired Scripture! I find it disturbing that it was the Christian women, not Jesus' own chosen Apostles, who were the first to visit Christ's tomb after He was laid to rest. When Jesus' mother (called the mother of James), Mary Magdalene and the other ladies saw that the tomb was empty, and two angels in shining garments confirmed to them that Jesus had risen from the dead as He foretold, they immediately went to back to tell the Apostles.

You couldn't make this stuff up. Jesus' own Apostles didn't believe the report of the women. Luke 24:11, “And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.” That is hard for me to process. These eleven men (Judas Iscariot commit suicide after betraying the innocent Son of God to death, who was the twelfth) who had seen Christ perform umpteen miracles—Who made the blind to see, the deaf to hear, the dumb to speak, the lame to walk, who healed the sick, and raised the dead—now refused to believe THE TRUTH that Christ has risen triumphantly from the dead. Jesus Christ is risen dear reader!!!

Two of the disciples who were present when the ladies testified of all they had seen at Jesus' empty tomb, walked to Emmaus with downcast saddened faces. We read in Luke chapter 24 that Jesus approached them and started asking them why they were sad. They engaged in a lengthy conversation as Christ expounded them in Moses and the prophets concerning Himself, yet the Bible says Jesus' true identity was kept holden (hidden) from them. The two disciples expressed their disbelief of all which had happened, which compelled Jesus to lovingly reprimand them in Luke 24:25-26 “Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?” Why are humans so stubborn to believe the plain truth that is right in front of them?

They invited Jesus to stay with them, but the Bible says Jesus pretended that He couldn't stay for the evening, but He really wanted to stay. Luke 24:28, “And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.” I am so grateful to God for being transparent in His Word, to allow us to see Jesus' humanity. They asked Jesus to stay, but He so: “No, than you anyway, but I must be going.” The Bible says they constrained (begged) Him to stay, and Jesus did. I love that. The Lord was being a true gentleman, not taking advantage of their kindness and hospitality. We serve an ethical Savior!

As the three finished their dinner, Jesus' true identity was revealed unto the two disciples and they marvelled. Luke 24:32, “And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?” Dear friend, you should read the inspired King James Bible each day until you get heart burn, that is, until your soul burns from THE TRUTH (Jeremiah 20:9).

So the two enlightened disciples (who now believed) went back to tell the eleven Apostles all that they had seen and heard. Then suddenly, Jesus appeared in the room, but they thought it was a ghost. Luke 24:36-37, “And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.” Again, their woeful lack of faith is disturbing. Not once, but twice, the eleven Apostles express their foolish lack of faith. That blows my mind!

I mean, the Apostles had seen Jesus raise Lazarus from the dead, who stank with bodily rot after being dead for four days in the grave. They had seen Jesus feed 5,000 people with a little boy's lunch. They had seen the blind healed so that they could now see. They had beheld lame people walk again, and a woman with an issue of blood healed after 12 years of suffering. They witnesses miracle after miracle. Yet, after witnessing all of these hundreds (and perhaps thousands) of supernatural miracles by the Son of God, they still were not convinced. Good night in the morning folks, what does it take to convince someone to believe?

I have learned in my brief time on earth that in every circumstance, some sinners will believe the Gospel but other will not. The Bible teaches that even if some lost sinners were to see the dead raised, they still would not believe the Gospel. That is so sad and tragic! Luke 16:30-31, “And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” The formerly rich man (now poorer than poor) begged Abraham to send Lazarus from the dead to warn his five living unsaved brothers, but his sincere request was denied. Abraham reiterates the truth that if lost sinners won't believe the written inspired Words of God, then they are beyond hope.

About thirty-five years ago, I shared the Gospel with an older man that I worked with as truck mechanics. His name was Andy. I'll never forget what he said to me: “I won't believe until God knocks on my front door, hands me a Bible and says, 'This is my Word'.” I have often felt sorry for Andy. His wife was a devout Catholic, but he was more of an agnostic (not sure what he believed). Andy was a good man, but lost in his sins without Jesus Christ. Dear reader, if you still don't believe the truth, despite the clear signs of God's existence everywhere we look in nature, then there's nothing that will change your mind (Psalms 19:1-3; Romans 1:20). 

There is an abundant amount of evidence showing that Jesus is who He claimed to be. History verifies the Holy Bible. Archaeology verifies the Holy Bible. Science verifies the Holy Bible. Nature verifies the Holy Bible. The dark sinful human nature verifies the Holy Bible.

The Greatest Faith In Israel

I love this precious true account in the Scripture...

Luke 7:1-10, “Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum. And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die. And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant. And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this: For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue. Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed. For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.”

Do you know why Jesus said this centurion (a commander over 100 soldiers) had the “greatest faith” in Israel? By the way, I cannot think of a greater compliment than for Christ Himself to bestow such admirable words of praise toward any man. Wow! I love this Bible passage, because it encourages me to have like faith. Why did Jesus say that this Roman centurion had the GREATEST FAITH in Israel? It was simply because the centurion believed that Jesus was who He claimed to be, God in the flesh (John 10:33; 1st Timothy 3:16 - cited only from the King James Bible). If Christ has been a mere mortal man, then He couldn't have commanded the sick servant to be healed. But Jesus was the God-man, 100% God and 100% man.

Pastor John MacArthur Denied Jesus' Deity

I heard Pastor John MacArthur (1939-2025) foolishly teach that if Jesus had God's blood flowing in His veins that he couldn't have been 100% a man. So, according to Dr. MacArthur Jesus DIDN'T have God's blood flowing in His veins. That is the sin of BLASPHEMY! John MacArthur slanders the inspired Word of God by denying Jesus' deity! Let me remind you dear reader that the Bible teaches Jesus was born of a virgin, meaning that God in Heaven alone is Jesus biological Father (Isiah 7:14; Matthew 1;23).

Pastor John MacArthur heretically teaches:

“It isn't human flesh, human bones, and divine blood. That's not a man. It is medically impossible to think of Christ's blood as divine. It is theologically impossible to think of Christ's blood as divine. It is Scripturally impossible to think of Christ's blood as divine. He would be less than man. His blood is human blood.” [emphasis added] —Dr. John MacArthur, 'The Precious Blood - Part 1'

GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN!!! Evidently Mr. MacArthur forgot the VIRGIN BIRTH! What normal man has ever been born of a virgin? That's right, NONE! Jesus was 100% a man, but he had God's divine blood in His veins, making Him 100% God as well; otherwise Jesus would have had a sinful nature, just like you and me (Romans 5:12). Woe unto John MacArthur!

Woe unto Bob Jones University (BJU) for bidding John MacArthur Godspeed! Woe unto Dr. Steve Pettit (incompetent BJU president from 2014 to 2022), Marty Herron (former incompetent pastor of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam from 1999 to 2018), and anyone who else who bids this false prophet John MacArthur Godspeed. Woe unto the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam for bidding this ungodly reprobate Godspeed! 2nd John 1:11, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” All of the aforementioned religious people and organizations have blood on their hands, for betraying the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

What saith the Scripture? Acts 20:28, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” Did you catch it? The Bible says that GOD purchased THE CHURCH with HIS OWN BLOOD. There you have it in writing—Jesus had God's blood flowing in His veins! Woe unto Dr. MacArthur and any other theological liar who teaches that Jesus' didn't have God's blood flowing in His earthly veins. How could Jesus be the only begotten (biological) Son of God and not have His heavenly Father's blood?

Are you a fool dear reader? That is, have you been slow to believe all that Moses and the prophets, and all that Jesus and the Apostles, have spoken? I believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, the very Christ, God almighty in the flesh!

You Need God's Righteousness, Not Yours

Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

I love this passage of Scripture, which many Bible students fail to understand properly. Most religious people couldn't accurately explain what this Bible verse means. The reason why is because religion by default teaches that you must do good works, live a good life and be a good person to get to Heaven. I hear that from Roman Catholics all the time when I asked them if they know for sure that they're going to Heaven when they die. Satan is a beautiful liar!

The righteousness that Matthew 6:33 is talking about is God's imputed righteousness. Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.”

Modern Bible Revisions Remove “Imputation”

I love that theological word “imputation.” Moreover, it is a biblical word. Tragically, the Devil's modern Bible perversions completely remove this beautiful word, and in so doing the translators rob the reader of this theological concept regarding salvation. No wonder billions of people are confused and walking in darkness today, when the inspired Word of God has been corrupted.

Dear reader, I cannot warn you enough to burn your modern Bible revisions, because they are ALL woefully corrupt, deadly and toxic to your salvation and spiritual growth. Case in point is the demonic English Standard Version (ESV) which has surpassed the New International Version (NIV) in popularity.

KING JAMES IBLE (KJB) - Romans 4:4-6, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works.”

ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION (ESV) - Romans 4:4-6, “Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, just as David also speaks of the blessing of the one to whom God counts righteousness apart from works.”

The theological word “imputation” is defined as:

Imputation theology refers to the concept in Christian theology where the righteousness of Christ is credited to believers, allowing them to be justified before God. This doctrine emphasizes that believers' sins are imputed to Christ, while His righteousness is imputed to them, forming a key aspect of justification by faith.

Although the Greek word itself (and meaning) for “counted” and “imputeth” in our text passage of Scripture passage are THE SAME, by removing the word “imputeth” the ESV deprives the reader of a key doctrine pertaining to salvation. The 54 King James Bible translators were wise to fully understand this great truth. Without seeing the word “imputeth,” the reader would never further investigate (study to rightly divide the Word of Truth) the rich theological meaning of this term. The very word imputation is rooted in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on Calvary's cross to pay our debt of sin. To replace this word with “counted” is shameful, tragic and an injustice to God's inspired Word in my humble opinion.

You see dear friend, these modern translators assume that you are ignorant, uneducated and stupid, so that they need to rewrite God's Word for you to understand it. The love of money is the root of all evil (1st Timothy 6:10-11).

Kindly said, Evangelist Ray Comfort is a dangerous false teacher. He preaches hard core Lordship Salvation. Ray is very wrong on the biblical meaning of repentance, requiring people to life a lifestyle of turning away from your sinning to be saved, which is works, not God's free grace (Romans 4:4-7; Ephesians 2:8-9; Philippians 3:9; Titus 3:5).

I purchased Ray Comfort's popular 'The Evidence Bible' several years ago. I searched The Evidence Bible from cover to cover for any mention of God's imputed righteousness, but tragically couldn't find anything. Ray based his commentary upon The Amplified Bible (AMP), which perversion of God's inspired Word also completely removes the word “imputeth” from Romans 4:6. This is very likely why Ray never touches upon the paramount topic of imputation in his toxic study Bible, because the word was left out by the incompetent AMP translators.

You Need His Righteousness To Go To Heaven

Clearly, the 54 King James Bible translators wanted you (the reader) to research the concept of imputed righteousness, so that you would properly understand God's simple plan of salvation, which is obtained ONLY through faith alone in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:3-4; Philippians 3:9; Galatians 3:26). Acts 4:10-12 sternly warns the reader that there is no salvation apart from faith alone in the precious name of JESUS. What a faithful Savior!

You and I have no self righteousness to offer God. Your best (and mine) are filth to God. So says Isaiah 64:6, “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Most theologians concur that “filthy rags” in this passage likely refers to a woman's menstrual rags. The point is that we have NOTHING to offer God for salvation. We are all guilty sinners deserving of everlasting damnation in Hell, fire and brimstone (Revelation 21:8).

Don't compare yourself to the worst of humans, or you'll likely feel pretty good about yourself. Only compare yourself to the inspired eternal Word of God, and you'll fall short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). We are hopeless on our own to merit eternal life. It simply cannot be done. There is no way to make up for the past. We are all horrible wretched sinners. Anyone who denies this biblical truth is calling God a liar (1st John 1:10).

Thankfully, God sent His only begotten (biological) Son unto the world to die on a cross to pay our debt of sin (John 3:16-18). WHOSOEVER simply receives Christ's sacrifice through the cross of Calvary as full payment for their sins, believing that He was buried but physically resurrected from the dead three days later, is instantly and permanently saved. This is the Gospel (1st Corinthians 15:1-6). The Gospel is THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION unto all who BELIEVE IT (Romans 1:16). Simply believe that Jesus did it all for you.

God doesn't give probationary life, He only gives eternal life to those who BELIEVE (i.e., just take God at His Word as recorded in the inspired Holy Bible). Once saved, always saved (OSAS) is 100% biblical. If saved, you can never lose it. Have you been born again dear friend?

Faith is the only righteous thing that we can do.

Most People Are Their Own God

Genesis 3:4-6, “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”

Many people create their own gods or idols, but these are not the true and living God. The inspired Holy Bible emphasizes that the true and living God is the Creator of the universe, and anything made by humans cannot be considered divine. Jeremiah 10:10, “But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.”

In our text passage from Genesis 3:4-6, we find Eve being seduced by the serpent (Satan according to Revelation 20:2). The Devil subtly deceived Eve, lying to her. The serpent had told her that God said she couldn't eat from any of the trees (verse 1). God never said that! If you look back to Genesis 2:16-17, God told Adam that they COULD eat from all the trees except the 'Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil' in the midst of the Garden of Eden.

I am continually frustrated by people who insist upon being their own god. Did you know that the word “heresy” simply means “an opinion.” Any opinion that contradicts the truth of God's inspired Word is heresy! There is no controversy if you believe the Holy Bible!

I will go to seed preaching against Christian woman (especially pastor's wives) who wear pants in public. It is sinful and shameful ladies! But if you want to be your own god to do your own thing, like Eve foolishly did, then you just continue defying God by putting on men's clothing and the attire of an harlot (Proverbs 7:10). but you'll answer to the Lord for it in eternity (Romans 14:10-12). PAYDAY SOMEDAY!

I hear much hateful criticism against fundamentalist Baptist preachers, such as myself. Perhaps the most hated of all is Pastor Steven Anderson. But whereas most people see a hate-preacher, I see a Bible preacher of righteousness and truth who hates sin and evil. To be quite honest, I think he is wrong to hate the sinner along with the sin, but I'd ten thousand times rather stand with a guy like Brother Anderson, who STANDS; than to join this weak-kneed, spineless, hell-spawned, church-playing, bib-wearing, spoiled-rotten generation of namby-pamby brats who affirm all manner of wickedness! I'm going to stand with the guy who's standing, not sit idle with the crowd who do nothing but criticize the Bible preacher!!!

I love what Pastor Jack Hyles said, “I'd rather see a guy with wild fire than no fire.”

When people criticize the Bible preacher, you had better make sure that you have grounds to base your accusations upon, because God is watching. I said GOD IS WATCHING! Whom do you think the Lord is more displeased with—the Bible preacher who hates sin so much that he hates the sinner too; or the pacifist pastor who affirms sexual immorality in his congregation, so that he never preaches against sin? Although both extremes are wrong, I say that God is more displeased with the latter, not the former.

I humbly believe biblically that we should never accept the sin with the sinner, nor reject the sinner with the sin. I think in part this is what the Scripture means in Jude 1:22, “And of some have compassion, making a difference.” The Bible is not saying that we should coddle sinners nor tolerate their wickedness; but rather, still show forth God's unconditional love even while opposing their evil deeds. The best way to do this is to continually keep the door of repentance open for them to come to Christ by faith to be converted. Remember, the Apostle Paul said that without love our faith and preaching become ineffective (1st Corinthians 13:1-3).

Adam Brought Sin And Death Into The World

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit, they were now guilty. They had now lost their innocence. They were now aware of the reality of sin, and along with that reality came the consequence of become their own gods. Not “God” in the sense of being equal with their Creator; but rather, being “gods” in the sense of being to choose for themselves between good and evil, and being responsible from then forth for their own decisions. This is why the world is such a massive mess today. What saith the Scripture? ...

Romans 5:12-14, “ Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.”

The phrase "death reigned from Adam to Moses" means that even though someone may not have committed the same sin that Adam did, they were still condemned with Adam because all men have sinned. This is why even though you may not commit murder, adultery, idolatry or drunkenness, you are still guilty because of other sins that you do commit (e.g., covetousness, envy, prayerlessness, gossip, idleness, indifference, et cetera). If any man denies that he has sinned, he is accusing God of being a liar, because the Word of God declares that ALL HAVE SINNED (Romans 3:10-23; 1st John 1:10).

In other words, all humanity is adversely affected by sin and its consequences, which sin brings death, regardless of one's individual actions. Even the least sinner must still die and answer to God, because all have sinned. Ecclesiastes 7:20, “For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” Adam’s disobedience in the Garden of Eden brought sin and death into the world. Whereas sin entered through one man, Adam, and its impact is still felt universally; contrariwise, one man, Jesus, died on a cross for the sins of all mankind, so that salvation is offered to all humanity through faith in Jesus Christ. 2nd Corinthians 5:21, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Death is the consequence of Adam’s sin. It doesn't matter if no one committed the same act of disobedience as did Adam, people still died before the Mosaic Law was given to mankind. The Apostle Paul is simply saying that death—the deserved consequence for sinning—is a universal experience, even for the people who lived before the law was given to Moses at Mount Sinai (Exodus 20). 

In other words, we live in a fallen world because of sin, regardless of God's law. Our human conscience convicts us of sin, evidenced by when Cain hid from God after murdering his brother Abel. When Adam sinned, he did so as ambassador of the human race, and opened the floodgate of sin and death upon the world. That is exactly why there is so much chaos, uncertainty, worry, confusion, suffering, pain and evil still in the world today. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Jesus Brought Righteousness And Life Into The World

John 1:4-5, “In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” This is a quote from Isaiah 9:2, “The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.”

Titus 2:11 teaches that God's saving grace has appeared unto ALL MEN. Titus 2:11, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.” No one will ever be able to point a finger at God the Father someday and justly accuse Him of not giving everyone an opportunity to be saved through faith in His only begotten Son, the Christ. My heart grieves when I am reminded of lost sinners such as Ozzy Osbourne (1948-2025), David Bowie (1947-2016) and Malcolm Young (1953-2017). I dare say any of these wicked men went to Heaven. Granted, no one truly knows where someone goes in the afterlife, except the hosts of Heaven and Hell, and that soul. Apart from the new birth through faith in Jesus Christ, there is no hope.

Don't Be Your Own God

When I hear wicked sinners slandering, attacking and criticizing the fundamentalist Bible preacher, I know that they are elevating themselves to the same plane as God; not because the Bible preacher is God, but because he is preaching from God's inspired Word. God is an authoritative God. The Holy Bible is an authoritative Book. The man who walks closely with the Lord and preaches the Holy Bible accurately, that is, with doctrinal soundness, preaches with authority. I can preach hard upon the AUTHORITY of the inspired Holy Scripture.

“The world will go to Hell unless somebody is authoritative!” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “I Shall Not Be Moved”

This is why multitudes of wicked people hate, slander and criticize Dr. Jack Hyles (even 24 years after he graduated to Heaven). Brother Hyles preached the authoritative Word of God with authority, and he was hated by sinners for it. Hebrews 12:3, “For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” This Bible verse speaks about Jesus who was hated by the sinful world (John 7:7). The fundamentalist Baptist Bible preacher who preaches THE TRUTH with authority is going to be hated by the sinful world (John 15:10; Galatians 4:16). God pity the preacher that the world don't hate! The world hated Jesus. The world hated Paul. All of Jesus' apostles were martyred, except John who was exiled to the isle of Patmos and left for dead.

2nd Timothy 3:12-14, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them.”

Let's just lay the axe to the root, idolatrous people who have become their own god despise and hate the Bible preacher who tells them THE TRUTH. I'm talking about the ungodly pastors today who use, sell and promote the Devil's corrupt Bible revisions. I can tell you with utter certainty that ALL of the modern English Bible revisions have been corrupted by Satan. They all attack the Godhead and Jesus' deity.

Yet, when a fundamentalist Bible preacher comes out against the Devil's modern perversions of God's Word, the Devil's neo-evangelical crowd attack us. I'm talking about the ungodly neo-evangelical crowd at Bob Jones University. I'm talking about the ungodly neo-evangelical crowd at Pensacola Christian College. I'm talking about the ungodly neo-evangelical crowd at Southern Baptist Theological University. I'm talking about the ungodly neo-evangelical crowd at Southwestern Baptist Theological University. I'm talking about the ungodly neo-evangelical crowd at Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary. These are all wicked preacher's cemeteries! I am convinced that all Bible colleges do today is neuter the pastors of tomorrow. God deliver us from these deadbeat neo-evangelical pastors today, who have become their own god, doing things their way instead of the Lord's way!

Wicked neo-evangelicals today have their own false bibles, their own false plan of salvation, their own lame Contemporary Christian Music, and their own moral standards—all contradicting the inspired Word of God. Effectively they have become their own god.

Judges 21:25, “In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” Carefully notice that every man wanted to do what was right. The Bible doesn't say they did wrong. It says that they did “right.” The problem is that they wanted to decide what is good or evil instead of God. That is what's wrong with our ungodly U.S. Supreme Court, who ruled in 1973 that a child in the womb is not a human life.

Those wicked Supreme Court judges ruled in favor of legalizing murder! They deemed it legally “right” to murder children. Do you see, they wanted to do the right thing, but they took it upon themselves to redefine what a human being is to justify the evil of murder. They decided that murdering a human life in the womb is the right thing to do. Judges 21:25, “In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” This is how humans operate.

Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” The only reason why millions of wicked sinners oppose the fiery fundamentalist Bible preacher is because THEY are choosing for themselves what is right, instead of following the inspired Word of God. Let God be true but every man a liar.

The Half-Truth Is The Most Dangerous Lie

Genesis 3:1-3, “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.  And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.”

Dr. Manly P. Hall was a high level 33rd degree Freemason who truthfully wrote:

“The half-truth is the most dangerous form of lie, because it can be defended in part by incontestable logic.”

When the serpent came to tempt Eve, he employed the HALF-TRUTH to trick her. You can read what God actually told Adam in Genesis 2:16-17. God forbad them from eating the fruit, but the LORD didn't forbid them to touch the fruit.

Also, the serpent lied when he misquoted God to Eve, alleging that God said they couldn't eat from “every tree,” when in fact there was only one tree from which they were forbidden to eat the fruit in the midst of the garden. Satan is a beautiful liar!

Although not a born again Christian, Manly P. Hall is so right—the most dangerous form of lie is the HALF-TRUTH! The reason why the “half-truth” is so dangerous is because the part that is true can be verified, which provides a cover and credibility to the part that is a lie.

Another classic example of the HALF-TRUTH is the 911 Attack on the World Trade Center (WTC) in New York City on September 11, 2001. The TRUTH is that professional demolition was used to implode those three WTC buildings (1, 2 and 7); the LIE is that two planes crashing into buildings 1 and 2 caused those skyscrapers to implode.

ALL of the modern English Bible revisions have been horribly corrupted by Satan. You cannot trust any of them! Please only use the inspired King James Bible, which is trustworthy!

Here again (concerning the modern perversions of the Bible) we see the HALF-TRUTH employed by Satan. The TRUTH is that most portions of the modern Bibles are indeed easier to understand; the LIE is the thousands of corruptions in today's Bible versions, which brutally attack and remove Jesus' deity, the godhead, the true meaning of repentance, et cetera.

Dear reader, please BEWARE of the deceit, falsehoods and lies which will come to you in the FORM of truth. 2nd Timothy 3:5, “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” Matthew 7:15, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” When dealing with cleverly fabricated half-truths, without biblical discernment it can be difficult to detect the lies. 

This is why I highly encourage all of my ministry followers to 'SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES' daily (John 5:39; Acts 17:10-11). Listen to lots of fundamentalist Bible preaching from doctrinally-sound preachers who are learned in the Scripture, who fight against sin and corruption, who care about hurting sinners, who are King James Bible only and preach an accurate free grace Gospel. Jesus is precious!!!

Praying At The Time Of Salvation Is Merely An Expression Of One's Faith

Isaiah 65:24, “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”

Many Christians who witness the Gospel to others have been taught to use what is commonly known as a “Sinner's Prayer.” The Roman's Road is a popular set of Scriptures from the New Testament book of Romans which is used to lead a lost sinner to Jesus Christ, which presentation usually ends with an invitation to pray a sinner's prayer. Praying silently, asking or calling audibly to be saved are mere expressions of one's faith, but are not faith in and of themselves. We are saved by faith, plus nothing!

These expressions are not necessary to receive the new birth. I believe when someone responds to a salvation invitation to walk down a church aisle, they were saved before they even left their pew. Isaiah 65:24, “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” They simply went forward to find out what just happened, that is, they were saved by faith in Jesus Christ.

By the way, I agree full with my long time ministry friend Pastor Max D. Younce (1935-2023) that no one should ever be required to walk down a church aisle to learn how to be saved. By requiring lost sinners to walk forward to be saved, those preachers are adding an unnecessary step to God's simple plan of salvation. In fact, Dr. Younce felt so passionately about the issue that he wrote an entire book about it, titled: 'Salvation And The Public Invitation.'

Romans 10:13 is not part of the Gospel. The Bible plainly says in Romans 10:14 that a sinner is saved when they "believe," and then people usually call, ask or pray as an expression of their faith. That is quite normal, but not required. Neither calling, asking or praying saves a person, nor are they mandatory to be saved. You are correct that these are mere expressions of one's faith. Well said my friend.

I don't like the sinner's prayer because it confused me for several years after I got saved at age 13, but that is how I was later taught to go soulwinning at Hyles-Anderson College (1985-1993). I stopped using the sinner's prayer about 20 years ago. But if I do, I will always explain to people that praying is not necessary to be saved. I like something that Pastor Jack Hyles said in a sermon: “Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.”

Not all New IFB pastors preach that you cannot be saved unless you pray. Pastor Jonathan Shelley is guilty of doing it. He even preached a whole sermon against me for disagreeing with their heresy. Pastor Bruce Mejia on the other hand is okay, he doesn't teach that nonsense.
I heard Pastor Anderson say in a sermon about 15 years ago that even though they use a sinner's prayer at Faithful Word Baptist Church, you can still be saved by faith alone without praying. But in recent years he seems to have changed his doctrinal position, now insisting that unless you call, ask or pray you cannot be saved, which is simply FALSE.

Many in the New IFB (the nuts) have relentlessly attacked my ministry friend Onorato Diamante on YouTube for his correct biblical preaching that faith is enough to be saved, without praying. I stand 100% with Onorato and am thankful for his YouTube channel and correct Bible exegesis.

To Him That Worketh Not

“But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” —Romans 4:5

What can you say to that? How can you argue with such plain and simple Words? The Word of God boldly proclaims that eternal life is obtained WITHOUT good works, i.e., works of self-righteousness. This Scripture silences the Lordship Salvationists. This Scripture silences the Pentecostals, like Wayman Mitchell, who teach that salvation can be lost if we do bad works. No sir, the Word of God does NOT teach any such lies. Jesus clearly stated in John 6:37, “...him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”

What a wonderful statement... BUT TO HIM THAT WORKETH NOT! So many imposters today behind America's pulpits, like John MacArthur, deceitfully teach lost sinners that works must accompany faith. In John MacArthur’s 1988 book titled The Gospel According to Jesus, he clearly teaches Lordship Salvation! MacArthur writes on page 173 that faith ‘encompasses obedience,’ and on page 174 that obedience is ‘an integral part of saving faith.’ Indeed, obedience is bound up in the very ‘definition of faith’ (page 171) being a ‘constitutive element in what it means to believe.’

Thus any ‘concept of faith that excludes obedience’ (page 174) must be rejected because obedience is ‘indivisibly wrapped up in the idea of believing’ (page 176). In fact, ‘the character of true faith’ is nothing less than the ‘higher righteousness’ of the Beatitudes of Matthew 5:3-11 (page 176). Mr. MacArthur is deathly wrong! He needs to ponder Romans 4:5, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” Did you read that Mr. MacArthur... HIS FAITH IS COUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!

Why do men make salvation difficult? Jesus said in John 10:9 that salvation is as easy as walking through a Door... “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” What can you say to that? Jesus said in John 4:10 that salvation is as easy as drinking a cup of water... “If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.” There is nothing hard or difficult about God's salvation. We just need to receive it through Jesus Christ, because He shed His blood to take away our sins. And by the way, no one can WORK their way into Heaven... “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us...” (Titus 3:5).

Dr. John Rice (1895-1980), founder of the Sword of the Lord, makes the following excellent statements . . .

“When you get saved, you get saved not because you deserve it, but because you simply let God save you and because you confess your own poor sinful state and your inability to save yourself.”

This is what the Bible teaches. Dr. Rice also states in his Gospel tract, What Must I Do To Be Saved...

“The change in your heart, sinner, is God's part and you may be sure He will attend to that. Your part is to simply believe in Him. Whatever else is necessary in your eternal salvation, the Lord attends to when you trust in Him, or believe in Him.”

Dr. Rice is 100% correct!

Why do some ministers require lost sinners to walk an isle to be saved (.pdf book)? Why can't people be saved right in their pew? The saving power of the Gospel should be presented to those in the pew as well. Why do some ministers require people to feel sorry for their sins to be saved? Why do some preachers tell lost sinners to “be willing to turn from sin” to be saved? This implies Lordship Salvation. If I say... “I'll lend you my car if you're willing to fill the gas tank” ... what am I really saying? Obviously, I expect you to fill my gas tank. Is not the same type of message placed in the minds of lost sinners when we require them to "be willing" to do anything.

Did Jesus require the adulterous woman in John 8 to “be willing to turn from sin” to be saved? No, Jesus saved her and then simply told her to “go and sin no more.” When we come to Jesus Christ in repentance, realizing that we are hellbound sinners under the condemnation of God's Law and place our faith in Jesus to forgive and save us, then we are saved eternally. It is after we are saved that Jesus says to all of us... “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more” (John 8:11). “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus...” (Romans 8:1). You must be “in Christ Jesus” not to be condemned.

There are several favorite Scriptures that I cherish, but none greater than the precious truth of Romans 4:5, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”

...BUT TO HIM THAT WORKETH NOT!

God's Amazing Grace

Genesis 6:8, “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

Our text passage of Scripture is the first mention of the word “grace” in the inspired Holy Bible. The only way that anyone has ever been saved is through faith by God's grace. As we all know, nothing in life is free. Even salvation isn't free, it cost God His only begotten Son. Eternal life for you and me cost Jesus His life. The only biological Son of God was also the Lamb of God of God, who was beaten beyond recognition, stripped naked, mocked and crucified to pay our massive debt of sin. Mercy is God not giving us what we do deserve; Grace is God giving us what we don't deserve. Those who have everything but grace have nothing; those who have nothing but grace, have everything.

I need to warn you about Peter S. Ruckman (1921-2016) and his bully cult of followers who foolishly teach that no one was saved or had eternal security in the Old Testament. Beware of the Bible Baptist Church in Pensacola, Ruckman's cult. One of Ruckman's most devoted cult followers is Dr. William P. Grady. Listen to yourself to Pastor Grady say that no one was ever saved in the Old Testament. That is bizarre! It's hard to believe that Dr. Grady was one of my Bible professors at Hyles-Anderson College in the late 1980's. Dr. Grady's true colors are now showing—a damnable false prophet who is wrong on Bible repentance.

The inspired Holy Bible is very clear that salvation has always been by God's grace without works, lest salvation by a debt owed by God instead of a gift provided by grace. Romans 4:4-5, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” A gift cannot be purchased, because it has already been paid for by the giver.

Noah found grace in God's sight; therefore, God's mercy followed, and only the forgiven can be blessed. Titus 1:4, “To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.” Before anyone can obtain mercy from God, you must first find His grace, which is free through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1-2, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

The Christian life is all about grace! Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” No one can be deemed righteous in the sight of God the Father except through faith in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ...

Philippians 3:9-11, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.”

Once you're in CHRIST, you're safe and have everything you need. God's grace is truly more than amazing! We hear much today in apostate Bible colleges and churches about, “Repent of your sins,” to get to Heaven, but no such teaching is taught in the inspired King James Bible (the only Bible that you can trust). All of the modern Bible revisions have been corrupted by Satan. If you don't have a King James Bible, you don't have an inspired Holy Bible!!!

To no surprise, the Devil's modern Bible revisions have completely removed God's grace...

Dear reader, it matters which Bible you use! The Devil's hands have been busy. Don't ever forget that the Devil is a pathetic liar, who works relentlessly to confuse as many people as he can. Satan's only will for your life is to hinder you from doing God's will. The Devil wants to blind you, so that you will spend eternity burning in the fires and torments of Hell with him (2nd Corinthians 4:3-4; Revelation 14:11).

Please don't get sucked into Satan's fallacy that you cannot be saved unless you're first willing to forsake a lifestyle of sinning. That is the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation (mixing works with grace), and not the free grace of God that brings salvation. Titus 2:11, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men...” Jesus died on the cross to pay everyone's debt of sin, so that we wouldn't have to pay for our own sins in the Lake of Fire forever. That being said, you must accept God's free gift of eternal life, by placing your childlike faith (trust, reliance) in Christ's work of redemption through Calvary's cross. Simply believe that Jesus did it all for you.

Bible repentance is changing your mind from unbelief to belief. Our only contribution dear reader in God's gift of salvation is the sin that made it necessary.

Good works are not the payment for sin, the payment for sin is death. Christ died on a cross for the sins of the whole world (1st John 2:2).

Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty!

Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.

If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from?

The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

We must stay true to the simplicity of the Gospel. Repentance regarding salvation is a change of mind from unbelief to belief!!! We must earnestly contend for the faith (Jude 1:3).

You Don't Have To Be Religious To Get To Heaven

Matthew 15:7-8, “Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”

The world is full of religious people, but they have never been born again. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Please don't take this matter lightly dear reader. You absolutely cannot go to Heaven without being born again by faith alone in Jesus Christ.

The great news is that you don't have to attend a church one day in your life to go to Heaven. You don't need to be water baptized. You don't need to speak in Charismatic tongues (a pagan practice that has it's origin in witchcraft). You don't have to partake of church sacraments (which aren't even taught in the inspired Holy Scriptures). To get to Heaven you don't have to join a church or live a good life, you just need to cease from trying to save yourself and REST completely in the dear Savior, Jesus, who died on the cross for you.

From the earliest age, many people have been indoctrinated to think that you need to become religious if you want to go to Heaven, but the wonderful truth is that you don't have to be religious at all to go to Heaven, Eternal life is the free gift of God, paid for in full by the precious blood of Jesus Christ that He shed on Calvary's cross for all humanity 2,000 years ago. Jesus paid a debt He did not owe, because we owed a debt of sin we could not pay. 2nd Corinthians 5:21, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Salvation is not found in any religion, but in a person—the Lord Jesus Christ. Religion tries to fit us with glasses, but the Lord wants to open our eyes with the truth. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Billions of humans pursue religious paths throughout their life, but they never come to the knowledge of the Gospel which saves them who believe it.

What exactly is “the Gospel”?

1st Corinthians 15:1-6, “1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”

There you have it, the Gospel is three things:

1. Jesus DIED on a cross to pay for our sins.
2. He was BURIED.
3. Three days later Jesus bodily RESURRECTED from the dead.

That is why we read the beautiful words in 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” The only prerequisite to believing the Gospel is you must realize that you are a needy sinner in the sight of a holy God. That is, you must see your need for salvation. You must know why you need to be saved, and that is because you are a woeful guilty sinner, the penalty of which is to spend eternity burning in Hell (Revelation 20:11-15; 21:8). This is why God gave mankind the Old Testament law. Romans 3:19-20, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”

The wicked Pharisees, and most Jews today, and all of the world thousands of false religions, foolishly think that the way you get to Heaven is by keeping the law. However, as we just read in Romans 3:20, God never intended for the law to save anyone; but rather, to show humanity our SINNERSHIP and bring us to CHRIST to be saved through faith alone in Him. Galatians 3:24-26, “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”

God has already made TWO great divisions to His inspired Word of OLD and NEW TESTAMENTS; or respectively, LAW and CHRIST. The Law shows us that we are needy sinners, and then brings us to Christ to be saved by faith in Him. Simply believe that Jesus did it all for you. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith. Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty. Salvation is not achieved, it is received. Eternal life is the free gift of God. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

The Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract according to John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” The purpose for which John penned the Book of John is to convince you (the reader) that Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God, so that by trusting upon Jesus' name you will be saved. That is so beautiful!

In the Gospel of John we find the word “believe” mentioned 85 times, but you won't find any requirement to repent, confess, turn, surrender, forsake, pray or get water baptized to get to Heaven. Jesus said in John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” The inspired Holy Bible is very clear about God's simple plan of salvation, as I have just shared with you. Yet, a counterfeit plan of salvation is being preached from nearly every church pulpit, every religious film, every so-called “Christian” book, every television station, every radio program and every Bible seminary today.

Repetition is the key to learning, which is why I often write blogs about salvation. There is nothing more important in this universe and beyond than the GOOD NEWS (i.e., the Gospel) of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen the third day, because the Good News of salvation through faith in Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

If you trust in the Sacramental Salvation of the Roman Catholic church, you will NOT go to Heaven. If you trust in the Sacramental Salvation of Martin Luther (1483-1546), who in his written catechisms (1529 AD) required water baptism and communion to be saved, then you WON'T go to Heaven. You either exclusively trust (rely) upon Christ's sacrifice on Calvary's cross as full-payment for your sins or you cannot be saved. There is no other name given among men whereby we can be saved (Acts 4:10-12).

Dear friend, you don't have to be religious to know that your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life (Luke 10:20). Religion is manmade, but salvation is of the Lord (Jonah 2:9).

You Don't Have To Be Willing To Give Up Anything To Be Saved

Titus 2:11-15 “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”

Jesus gave His life on the cross to pay for your sins, He doesn't demand that you meet Him half way. He doesn't demand that you give up your sins or follow Him as “Lord” to receive His free gift of eternal life. All God requires is for you to believe that Jesus did it all for you. That's it!

I cannot warn you enough to RUN from today's corrupt Baptist churches (or any so-called church) that requires you to first be willing to forsake your sinful bad habits to get to Heaven. That is a works-based plan of salvation (damnation), not Bible salvation. For example: Here is a quote from their Statement of Faith at the Baptist Christian Church in Royal Center Indiana...

We believe that repentance is a change of mind and purpose toward God brought about by the Holy Spirit. Repentance is characterized by godly sorrow for sin which is offensive to God and destructive to the soul. True repentance is inseparably related to true faith causing one to purposely turn away from sin and move instead toward God as an act of faith. (Luke 13:1-3; Luke 15:7; Acts 8:22; Acts 20:21; Romans 2:4; 2 Corinthians 7:10) SOURCE

There are THREE major heresies in the preceding Statement of Faith:

1. Repentance means a change of mind, period. Nowhere in the Bible do we learn that repentance also includes a change of purpose toward God. Wicked people added those extra words to God's Word (Proverbs 30:5-6).
2. Nowhere does the inspired Word of God require someone feel sorry for their sins to get to Heaven. I triple-dog dare you to show me where the Bible says that! When the Apostle Paul mentioned godly sorrow in his second epistle to the church at Corinth he was addressing saved Christians, not the lost.
3. Nowhere does the inspired Holy Bible teach that we must turn from our sins to get to Heaven. In sharp contrast, Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins. He does not require that we be willing to forsake a lifestyle of sinning to be saved.

Do you see how bad churches today wrest the inspired Word of God, teaching false doctrines which poison men's souls and damn them to the Lake of Fire forever? Dear reader, you don't have to be willing to give up anything to be saved, Jesus gave up His life for you on the cross. 

All you need to do to be saved is simply come to God by faith as a needy sinner. “By faith” I mean to just take God at His promises as recorded in the written Holy Bible. If you'll simply receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that Jesus died, was buried and physically resurrected three days later, you will be instantly and forever born again (saved). This is the Gospel as recorded in the Bible...

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

That is the official “Gospel,” which means, “Good News”:

1. Jesus DIED for our sins on a cross
2. Jesus was BURIED.
3. Jesus RESURRECTED three days later.

If anybody SUBTRACTS or ADDS to the Gospel, he or she is preaching another Gospel. The only thing that you need to know to BELIEVE THE GOSPEL is why you need to be saved, which is because you and I are guilty sinners, and the penalty for our sins is eternal damnation in Hell's fire and brimstone (Romans 3:19-20; Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8).

NO ONE has ever been saved who refused to admit that he or she is a SINNER (1st John 1:8-10).

One of my favorite historical preachers was Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951), who made this excellent observation concerning the Gospel...

“The Gospel is not a call to repentance, or to amendment of our ways, to make restitution for past sins, or to promise to do better in the future. These things are proper in their place, but they do not constitute the Gospel; for the Gospel is not good advice to be obeyed, it is good news to be believed. Do not make the mistake then of thinking that the Gospel is a call to duty or a call to reformation, a call to better your condition, to behave yourself in a more perfect way than you have been doing in the past …

Nor is the Gospel a demand that you give up the world, that you give up your sins, that you break off bad habits, and try to cultivate good ones. You may do all these things, and yet never believe the Gospel and consequently never be saved at all.”

Amen and amen! I encourage you to read Pastor Ironside's Gospel tract, 'What Is The Gospel?' Please don't allow any false prophet, who is really a wolf in pastor's clothing, to take you to Hell forever with himself. Jesus paid your debt of sin through Calvary's cross. He raised up from the dead and ascended into Heaven. Jesus sprinkled His literal liquid blood upon the heavenly Mercy Seat in the presence of His Father (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24). All you have to do to be saved is to BELIEVE that Jesus did it all for you!

Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith. Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty! Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work. If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from? The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

And remember, In Jonah 3:10 God repented, that is, He changed His mind not to destroy the people of Nineveh. If repentance means to turn from your sins, then how could God repent, since He is incapable of sinning? Tragically, many Baptist preachers (pastors and clergy) today are bold-faced theological LIARS! They are mere fools parroting and regurgitating the things that they've heard other fools saying, propagating the lies. This is why the inspired Word of God exhorts every believer to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES (John 5:39; Acts 17:10-11), so that we may RIGHTLY DIVIDE the Word of Truth (2nd Timothy 2:15).

No one has ever turned from his or her sins. The very idea is preposterous! That is why Jesus Christ had to die on a cross to pay our massive debt of sin, so that we wouldn't have to burn in the fires of Hell forever to pay for our own sins. You may clean up your life superficially, so that you cleverly hide your sins from others (living above reproach), but God still sees your sins. No human being has ever achieved sinless perfection (Romans 3:10-23). Jesus was the only person who was completely without sin (Hebrews 4:15). Jesus is the sinless Lamb of God (John 1:29).

God freely offers the gift of eternal life to anyone who wants it. You need not give up anything to receive it. Just come to God as a needy sinner and take His gift by faith, by simply BELIEVING the Good News of Jesus crucified, buried and risen the third day. There is nothing else that you need to do, nor that you are allowed to do, to get to Heaven.
