False Christianity Exists Everywhere

2nd Corinthians 11:13-15, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

The word “Christian” is perhaps the most misused, misapplied and misunderstood word in the English language. Scripturally, believers in Jesus were first called “Christians” at Antioch. Acts 11:26, “And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” So, the official meaning of a “Christian” is a born again sinner who is following Jesus as one of His loyal disciples.

However, that is not the accepted modern meaning of the word among the saints. When we speak of a “Christian” we mean someone who has been born again by the Holy Spirit of God in response to one's faith in the Gospel, regardless if they are a disciple or not. I hope you do realize that it is possible to have faith in Christ without following Him as a disciple. I humbly think Pastor M. R. Dehaan (1891-1965) said it best...

"There is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, while coming after Christ makes one a disciple. All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the Gospel, to be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ; discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to His call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation can't be lost because it depends upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness." —Pastor M.R. Now that we've got those preliminaries out of the way, let's go to the purpose of this article.

False Christianity Exists Everywhere

Tragically, nearly everyone considers Roman Catholics to be “Christian,” but in reality Catholicism is the biggest false religion on the planet. From the cradle to the casket, Catholics do religion right. I said “religion,” not Christianity. Satan is a beautiful liar. The Devil's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. There is nothing taught in the Bible about “sacraments.” Yet, somehow Catholics managed to pull Seven Sacraments out of God's inspired Word, perverting the Gospel of free grace to include partaking of mandatory manmade rituals and human work to get to Heaven. I tell you with all biblical certainty as a fundamentalist preacher that Catholicism is a prisonhouse of religion!

Please don't miss the stern warning in our text passage of Scripture from 2nd Corinthians 11:13-15 that false prophets' “end shall be according to their works.” Since they have never been born again by resting in Christ's finished redemptive work, they will be judged according to their own self-righteous works, and damned to spend eternity in the fires of Hell.

Dear reader, Catholics are NOT Christians! No one is a born again Christian who trusts in the sacraments, the power of the Catholic church, priests to absolve sins, the confessional booth, et cetera. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” There is nothing in Jesus' words about partaking of sacraments, confessing your sins to a sinful priest in a confessional booth, getting dunked in a baptistry, nor anything else. Manmade religion is the worst thing that ever happened to this world. Dear reader, there is no salvation in the Roman or Russian Orthodox Catholic religions. Salvation is of the LORD.

Then there's the Lutheran religion who idolize Martin Luther (1483-1546), a corrupt theologian who taught the damnable heresy of Baptismal Regeneration (aka, Sacramental Salvation) his entire life. If Luther is not burning in the fires of Hell, then God is a liar, because the inspired Holy Bible warns in Galatians 1:6-7, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.” The Gospel presented by the Apostle Paul in 1st Corinthians 15:1-6 (which Paul received directly from Jesus Himself - Galatians 1:12), does NOT include water baptism nor taking communion.

Then there's the demonic Seventh-Day Adventist religion who idolize false prophetess Ellen G. White (1827-1915). SDA's wrongly redefine what “faith” means. Instead of simple trust (reliance), SDA's redefine “faith” to mean fulfilling all the obligations of the Christian life, walking in holiness and obedience to all of God's commandments. As with nearly all false prophets, SDA's deceitfully profess to believe in salvation by grace through faith; but then horribly contradict themselves in their writings...

Faith is not simply looking at a distant, historical Jesus. Rather, it is responding to His invitation to "follow me." That is how I become a disciple. It is by accepting the obligation to live a life of discipleship that faith becomes obedience. Surely this is what Mrs. White meant when she wrote that the faith that leads to salvation "is not a mere intellectual assent to the truth. . . . The only faith that will benefit us is that which embraces Him as a personal Saviour" (ibid., p. 347). Heresy! Salvation is not “accepting the obligation to live a life of discipleship.” This negates the gift of God. Romans 4:5 plainly teaches, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” SDA's ignore and disregard Romans 4:5. Salvation is without works of self-righteousness. The man who believes on Christ is saved because his faith is COUNTED for righteousness. I tell you plainly that Seventh-Day Adventism is going straight to the pits of Hell. SDA preaches another gospel.

So, thus far in this article we have excluded Catholics, Lutherans and Seventh-Day Adventists from the list of who is a “Christian.” We should also add the Jehovah's Witnesses, a religious cult who deny Jesus' deity. They deny the Godhead (i.e., the Trinity). JW's deny Jesus' bodily resurrection from the dead after He was crucified and buried. JW's falsely teach that Jesus only raised up in spirit. They are NOT Christians!

Then there's the wicked Mormon cult with their bizarre temple beds, magic underwear and Satanic worship rooted in Freemasonry, who preach a counterfeit gospel which requires water baptism, turning away from one's sinful behavior, works and faith in another Jesus who is not God. Mormons are not saved. They are not Christians! So we can add them to our list of pseudo-Christians.

And let us not forget the damnable Lordship Salvation camp today, hellbound Calvinists, who pervert the Gospel of free grace to include following Christ as the supreme “LORD” of your life, serving Jesus, repenting from your sinful ways to walk in holiness from now on, inviting Christ into your life, living a lifestyle of repentance, et cetera.

I have mentioned several false religions, but I could bring up thousands more false religions. These are the main ones in the United States. No one who adheres to the corrupt teachings of these pseudo-Christian cults is a born again Christian. NONE OF THEM! No one is saved who adds to Christ's finished work of redemption. More people will die and go to Hell someday because they trusted too much to get to Heaven. I believe this is why Jesus warned in Matthew 7:13-15 that only a “few” people will enter into Heaven in eternity (cf. Luke 13:23-24). God's simple plan of salvation is so free and easy that most people pass right over it, like driving through a tiny town without even realizing that you've missed it.

Oh that well-meaning religious men would stop tampering with the Gospel, and allow the blessed Holy Spirit to do His work of convicting lost sinners of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:8). It's not our job to pervert the Gospel in a sinful attempt to coerce lost sinners to commit to change their lifestyle as a prerequisite to saving faith. This is exactly why the false teachings of Lordship Salvation and Misunderstood Repentance exist. NO ONE is saved who is trying to live above sinning to get to Heaven.

When I visited the ungodly corrupt Family Baptist Church in Pensacola in 2021 for their annual church revival, they invited 'The Thrift Family' bluegrass Gospel group from Texas to perform. On Sunday the wife of Jonathan Thrift gave her testimony. I sat there numb as I listened to her testify that she is trusting in Lordship Salvation.

She said she had previously thought she was saved, but then after listening to her pastor in Texas, realized she'd never turned away from her sinning. She foolishly said now she no longer lives in sin and knows she's saved. I felt like walking out of the revival. That is the dung theology taught at Family Baptist Church in Pensacola. The church's ungodly senior pastor, Bobby Moffett, preaches the demonic lie that you must “repent of your sins” to be saved, a false teaching that is nowhere found in the inspired King James Bible.

Dear reader, if you think you are saved because you have turned away from a lifestyle of sinning, you are NOT saved. Every false religion that I have mentioned in this article falsely teaches that you must turn away from your sinful behavior to get to Heaven. Let's take Mormons for example...

Notice that Mormons say “repentance can be difficult,” just as Dr. John MacArthur (1939-2025) teaches in his toxic book titled “HARD TO BELIEVE.” In sharp contrast, the Bible teaches 2nd Corinthians 11:3, “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the SIMPLICITY THAT IS IN CHRIST.” The Bible teaches that salvation is simple in Christ. Mormons preach ANOTHER JESUS, ANOTHER GOSPEL AND ANOTHER SPIRIT that are all of the Devil.

I could likewise show you similar quotes from every false religion I have mentioned in this blog. Only the inspired King James Bible teaches a free grace Gospel without works. Man in his inherent sinful carnal pride has always felt compelled to add, embellish and tamper with God's simple plan of salvation, requiring MORE than simple childlike faith in the crucifixtion, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Most pseudo-Christian cults hypocritically claim to believe in salvation by grace through faith, but then they subtly add works to pervert God's grace.

False Christianity exists everywhere today! Tragically, ninety-nine percent of professed Christians are not saved. They are all hellbound in their sins of false religion, pride and self-righteousness. They call Jesus “Lord, Lord,” but they are not His sheep (Matthew 7:21-23).

When I used to live in Chicago before 2004, I used to enjoy reading the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper. They had a daily section which displayed something called “Magic Eye.” If you placed your eyes close to the image and then slowly backed away while staring through it, you'd see a floating object in 3D in the foreground. It was surreal. I loved it! But for whatever reason, perhaps colorblind, some people never could see the hidden image. And also, Magic Eye doesn't work as well online as it does when printed.

I realized a few years ago that the Gospel is just like Magic Eye. That is, you can look at religion your entire life without seeing the true Gospel. Literally billions of people on the planet spend their entire lives delving into religion (as did George Harrison of The Beatles), and yet never come to the saving knowledge of the truth by faith in Christ. 2nd Timothy 3:7, “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Dear reader, the $64,000 question is: Have you been born again?

All I ever hear from the Catholic Church is how great the Pope is, the “Holy Father.” But the inspired Holy Bible clearly warns us in Matthew 23:9 to call no earthly man our spiritual “Father,” for God alone is to be reverenced. Psalms 89:7, “God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.” Sinful men are not worthy of reverence. Only God is to be reverenced. The Catholics not only call the Pope “Father,” but literally idolize the man. The Pope is the vicar of Hell, not Heaven.

The gigantean photo of the Pope with a tiny decrepit Jesus speaks 1,000 words. The Catholic religion idolizes their ungodly Pope. Look how Pope John Paul II is shown as big and mighty; but Jesus is portrayed as weak and helpless in the hands of the Pope.

The Catholic Church with it's gold-plated cups, marble floors, extravagant buildings and $2.5 trillion dollar net worth certainly fits the description of the Scripture passage we just read.

The average Catholic is brainwashed with Catechism training from childhood and knows little about the Holy Bible. What part of Philippians 2:10 don't the Catholics understand? Please notice that the word "worship" is not mentioned in Philippians 2:10. We are not even supposed to "bow" to anyone other than Jesus Christ. The Pope is obviously BOWING to a graven image in the above photos. Where does the inspired Word of God direct the reader to bow to statues (idolatry) and then claim that we don't worship them? Is this reasonable? Of course it's not. The Bible NEVER makes an issue of Mary. No recognition whatsoever is given to Mary. Yet Catholics have created a entire religion that centers around the glory and magnificence of Mary.

Some Catholics have even gone as far as to make Mary a Co-redeemer with Christ. Notice Mary's nail-scarred hands. This is satanic blasphemy against the Lord Jesus Christ. 1st Timothy 2:5 teaches that there is ONLY one Mediator between God and men, that is, the man Christ Jesus! The very notion of Jesus' biological mother being a co-redeemer is insane...

Sadly, at least 1,400,000,000 people around the world today are adherents of the demonic cult of Roman Catholicism. Maryiolatry is idolatry! Catholics pervert, twist and wrest the inspired Scripture to their own destruction. 2nd Peter 3:16, “As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest [twist], as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”

The Bible says that MANY people corrupt the Word of God. 2nd Corinthians 2:17, “For we are not as MANY, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” Today, just as 2,000 years ago, there are MANY Christ-rejecters who corrupt the Words of God. And many of them falsely profess to be Christians (they're called Modernists). They have religion, but they know not God.

Many unsaved people falsely think they're saved because they prayed a 1-2-3 type prayer, asking Jesus into their heart or surrendered “all” to Jesus Christ, but they've never been truly born again by resting in the Gospel (i.e., the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ - 1st Corinthians 15:1-6). If you acknowledge your guilty condition as a sinner, and by faith receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried but then resurrected from the dead three days later—you are saved my friend. Christ died, that's history; Christ died for me, that's salvation.

I plead with you to consider your soul if you are a Catholic. Salvation is NOT found in a religion; but rather, in a person—the Lord Jesus Christ. Eternal life is a free gift from God (Romans 5:15; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9), paid for by Jesus' precious, blood (1st Peter 1:18-19; Hebrews 9:12,22-24; Revelation 1:5). Salvation is receiving, not giving (John 1:12). It's not what you're doing that gets you to Heaven; it's where you're looking (Isaiah 45:22). Look to Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God!

Good works are not the payment for sin, the payment for sin is death. Christ made that payment for all humanity through Calvary's cross.

Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty.

Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.

If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from?

The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

In one respect, there are only 2 religions in the world: DO and DONE. Either you believe that you must DO something to merit Heaven; or else you believe what the Bible teaches, i.e., that redemption is DONE, completed in Christ Jesus. To get to Heaven, you simply need to BELIEVE that Jesus did it all for you.

It's all been done my friend. Salvation has been paid for! All you need to do is to trust (rely upon) Jesus who is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God (John 3:14-18). That is not a self-righteous work; but rather, resting upon the finished work of Christ. John 6:29, “Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”

Just as I suspected, those Catholic false prophets are greedy charlatans. There's always a "Cha-ching" (cash register sound) that comes along with everything they promote and offer. I signed up for their free "Hallow" prayers just to follow it through and see where it leads. Sure enough, it ended up with them demanding payment for Hallow (which I refused to give them). 

They falsely claim that it is totally FREE for 90 days, but then you cannot download Hallow without giving them your credit card or PayPal account. THAT IS NOT FREE! That's just like the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation—they falsely claim salvation is FREE while also saying that you cannot have it unless you sacrifice your sinful bad habits and selfish lifestyle. That is NOT free, because you are required to make a payment to obtain it. True salvation is FREE without any stipulations or obligations. You simply TAKE IT by faith!

Anyway, with "Hallow," after 90 days of the so-called FREE trial, they charge you $69.99 for a year. I saved this screenshot of the webpage that I saw. What wicked phonies! Mark Wahlberg has a net worth of $400,000,000 but I guess that's not enough money for him. I hate the whole idea of prewritten "guided" prayers, which is formal religion, not true Christianity. They've reduced God to a vending machine; that is, you put in a quarter and get what you want. Unreal.

It's March 5th, my birthday. I turned 58 years old today after 5 am. I thank God for the opportunity and privilege to live to see age 58. I arbitrarily picked the number 42 the other day, to see how many famous people died at age 42. The website listed 434 famous people, beginning with Elvis Presley, who died at age 42. Life is so fragile! Proverbs 27:1, “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” I like watching the YouTube channel, "Tragedy Tales."

I saw one of his videos today, showing a woman (a mother) in India just walking down the street, minding her own business. Without warning a large sinkhole opened up and swallowed her 27 feet down into an open leaking sewer pipe that sucked her in and she vanished into the sewer system, never to be seen or heard from again. The local authorities dug up the whole street for a city block in an attempt to find her, but they never did and after several weeks they notified the family that they'd given up. They searched for one more week to give the family time to adjust to the bad news. So sad. Death can come at any time for anyone. I am thankful to God that I have lived to see age 58 today. God is so good!

It bothers me that Baptists today have all but given up on exposing Roman Catholicism as the biggest cult in the world. The problem is that pastors have stopped loving the truth. That is why they feel no compulsion to contend for the faith (Jude 1:3-4). Roman Catholicism is of the Devil. Catholicism is a prisonhouse of religion. From the cradle to the casket, Catholicism has a demonic religious package for you! Religion is the worst thing that ever happened to this world. Lent is totally unbiblical and no born again believer should partake of this pagan ritual. The same is true of Ash Wednesday that traditionally follows a sordid day of debauchery on Mardi Gras (aka, “Fat Tuesday”). The general idea is that you indulge in gross immorality on Tuesday, and then get right with God on Wednesday. I cannot warn you enough dear reader to RUN from the Satanic Catholic church, which is really a dangerous religious cult. The Bible plainly forbids calling Catholic priests “Father” (Matthew 23:9). The inspired Holy Bible plainly commands us not to make graven images nor bow to them (Exodus 20:4-5). The Bible plainly warns against fall prophets who would come forbidding marriage (e.g., celibacy for priests), and also forbid eating meats (e.g., lent on Fridays). The Roman and Orthodox Catholic churches violate these clear Scriptural prohibitions. I once witnessed to a dying woman, whose father later angrily gabbed me by the shirt collar and cursed in the Lord's name. The “spiritual darkness” that Mother Teresa describes in her writings can be difficult to comprehend, but this feeling of emptiness was not caused by either depression or a loss of faith, according to a lecturer at an academic conference organized by the Mother Teresa Institute.

St. Teresa of Calcutta’s “dark night of the soul” was a distinct charism that helped her build her faith and serve others rather than a mere chemical imbalance that induces depression or an abandonment of the Catholic faith, said Loyola University Maryland philosophy professor Derek McAllister at a Sept. 6 symposium held at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., one day after the saint’s feast day.

“If it’s a mental emotional problem, they do not of themselves promote virtue or increase depth of relationship with God,” McAllister said. “Whereas we know with the dark night, the nights do of themselves greatly increase love, humility, patience, and the like. And they decidedly prepare one for deeper prayer.”

The lecture focused on some of Mother Teresa’s letters, which describe an emptiness and a spiritual darkness — essentially an inability to feel the presence of God. St. Teresa, who founded the Missionaries of Charity, was an Albanian sister who spent most of her life serving the poor in Calcutta, India. She was canonized in 2016.

“The darkness is so dark, and I am alone,” St. Teresa wrote. “Unwanted, forsaken. The loneliness of the heart that wants love is unbearable. Where is my faith? Even deep down, there is nothing but emptiness and darkness. My God, how painful is this unknown pain? It pains without ceasing.”

So sad and tragic, but dear reader this is the expected fruit of a false religion like Roman Catholicism. You see, Jesus plainly said that to enter into God's Kingdom you MUST BE BORN AGAIN (John 3:1-7). The new birth is not optional if you desire to escape God's wrath in Hell for your sins, and to go to Heaven instead. I was gratefully born again at the tender age of 13. It was in an old-fashioned Baptist church. Before that day all I remember in hindsight is darkness in my life. There is no awareness of God's presence in my life. So it doesn't surprise me one bit that Mother Teresa felt the same darkness throughout her life, entagled in the spider's web of Roman Catholicism, a merciless prisonhouse of religion.

As you just read for yourself in Mother Teresa's writings, she said: “the place of God in my soul is blank, there is no God in me.” She didn't know how right she was when she penned that. What saith the Scripture? Matthew 6:23, “But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” The light that was in Teresa was darkness, that is, a lie. She thought she'd found the truth, but that perceived truth was a falsehood. Over one billion Catholics think they have found the truth, but it is really a pack of lies!

I watched a video the other day by a Catholic priest. YouTube randomly plays another video after the one you wanted to watch ends, and that is what happened. I was shocked when the priest said that you cannot be right with God unless you first go to the priest, and get his blessing. He cited the Scripture from Luke 5:14, “And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.” Based on that one Bible verse alone, the wicked Vatican have concocted a false doctrine of going to your priest to have your sins absolved.

As usual, Roman Catholics wrest the Scripture to their own destruction (2nd Peter 3:16-17), perverting the truth. The Bible plainly tells us in verse 14 the reason why Jesus told the leper to go to the priets, "for a testimony unto them." It was to testify of the power of Jesus, that He had the authority of His heavenly Father to perform miracles; and it verified that He was indeed the only begotten Son of God, the promised Messiah. Nowhere does the Bible even remotely hint that the priests forgave or healed the man in any way.Please RUN away from the Roman Catholic prisonhouse cult of religion!

Beware Of The Satanic 'Church Of Christ' False Religion

Mark 7:7-9, “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”

Someone sent me an invitation to attend the local Gateway Church of Christ in Pensacola. As I always do, the first thing I did was go look for their Statement of Beliefs. What I found is a laughable joke! Clearly, as cults often do, they are hiding their beliefs. Seventh-Day Adventist and Jehovah's Witness church cults do this all the time. Beware of these cults! And may I add, any Baptist church that preaches Lordship Salvation is equally a deadly religious cult!

I had to go searching online for what other Church of Christ (COC) cults believe. They all essentially believe that you must stop living a lifestyle of sin to get to Heaven, which is a counterfeit gospel. Case in point, here is a quote from the Statement of Faith of the Clovis Church of Christ in California...

Again, in Acts 3:19 Peter says

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;"

So, if repentance is a requirement, what does it mean and what must we do to meet this requirement? To repent is to change our mind and make the decision that we will change our life to begin serving the Lord as He desires us to serve Him. This is brought about by understanding what God has done for us, and realizing that we are not right with Him in our current condition and that we desire to change so as to please Him. This means, that an immoral person must become moral and upright in lifestyle. For the religious person who has tried to live a life pleasing to God, repentance may involve recognizing that we have not done what God requires of us with regard to salvation and that we must obey the inspired plan in order to be right with Him. If we are in the denominational world, belonging to a church that has a creed or doctrine other than the Bible and/or in addition to the Bible, then we must turn away from such a religion and find a congregation of people that believe in the Bible and only the Bible. Repentance then is produced by Godly sorrow (2 Corinthians 7:10) which leads to a change of heart and a change of mind, which is the beginning of a changed life... one that is dedicated to God. What you have just read is Satanic! You don't have to “become moral and upright” of your own doing to get to Heaven, you need to receive Jesus' sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins. Simply believe that Jesus did it all for you! There is no requirement to become a moral person to be saved in the inspired King James Bible. They started off right in COC by teaching that repentance is “a change of mind,” but then they embellished repentance by adding other things to it which are totally unbiblical. The Bible does not say to clean up your life of sin, commit to do better, promise to turn away from sinful bah habits nor to dedicate your life to God to get to Heaven. These things are all proper in their place, but you may do all of these things are never have been saved at all. Jesus emphatically stated in John 3:3b, “Ye must be born again.”

I love and share David's attitude. Psalms 84:10, “For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.  I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Amen and amen! I'd rather be a doorkeeper in a local Bible-believing church, than to rule in Satan's Hollywood kingdom. I'd rather cut the grass for God's house, than to dwell in Hugh Hefner's mansion. Like Joshua, I'm on the Lord's side (Joshua 24:15).

That is pure Lordship Salvation, not the free grace Gospel presented in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. Works have no part in God's simple plan of salvation. Romans 4:5, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” Having to live a faithful life and loyal service to Christ to be saved is self-righteousness, not trusting saving faith. Remember, we are saved by GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS, not our own goodness (Philippians 3:9). Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

Water Baptism Is Not Required To Get To Heaven

The Satanic Church of Christ also corrupts the Gospel by adding a requirement to be water baptized to get to Heaven. Here is what the Clovis Church of Christ errantly teaches...

Acts 2:36-39

"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."

This tells us that baptism is necessary for the remission (forgiveness) of sins.

Pastor Curtis Hutson made this helpful statement: A good rule to follow when interpreting the Bible is to never use an obscure passage to contradict a clear one. Bravo! Yes, that is exactly right! In umpteen places in the New Testament where we are told to “believe” on Jesus to be saved, there is no mention of water baptism. For example: John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” If water baptism were necessary to get to Heaven, then Jesus would have mentioned it here, but He didn't. The thief on the cross didn't have time to be baptized. It would be very wrong to say that God made an exception, when we are plainly told in Galatians 1:6-7 that there is only one Gospel.

The Church of Christ wrest (twist) the Scripture to their own destruction (2nd Peter 3:16-17). No one in the Old Testament was baptized with water to get to Heaven. In the Epistle of First John, the apostle tells us the purpose of his epistle is so “that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God” (1st John 5:13). Yet, John never once mentions baptism. This speaks volumes as to this unnecessity of water baptism to be saved. The ungodly Church of Christ have changed God's simple plan of salvation, making it works-based instead of faith-based. Please don't buy into their lies!

My father was right, religion is the worst thing that ever happened to this world. Salvation is not found in any religion, but in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Catholics Are Not Christians

Catholics are NOT Christians! By “Christian” I mean born-again. Jesus warned in John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Dear reader, if there has never been a time and place in your life when you came to God as a guilty sinner, and by faith received Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, trusting the Bible record that Jesus was buried but then resurrected from the dead after three days, you need to get saved before it is too late. Being religious won't get you into Heaven. Most people have churchianity without Christianity, because they've never been born again. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again.

In the Catholic religion some errantly teach that you must keep Seven Sacraments to get to Heaven. Some of these sacraments include water baptism, Holy Eucharist (communion), confession, et cetera. Interestingly, if you read different Catholic ministry websites you will find varying methods of how to get to Heaven. Oh boy! Let's examine a couple shall we.

Catholic Answers magazine says this is how you can go to Heaven...

The two sentences are these: To come to God and be saved, you need to repent, have faith, and be baptized. If you commit mortal sin, you need to repent, have faith, and go to confession.

That’s it. That’s all there is to it. And we can show each of these things from the Bible.

What you just read is another gospel which doesn't match the Bible's plan of salvation. Catholic.com is wrong to make repentance a separate step from faith to be saved. Biblically, repentance (Greek verb: metanoeo) is simply a change of mind unto the Gospel itself. That is, a man who believes the Gospel has repented. That is, he has changed his mind. Anybody who tells you that more than faith is required to get to Heaven is a liar! Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

'The Dark Knight' Catholic Website Gets The Gospel Wrong

Here is another Catholic ministry website at The Dark Knight. They errantly teach that you must keep the Seven Sacraments to get to Heaven...

Thus, if we want to get to Heaven and knowing that only the holy are allowed into Heaven, and then knowing that the Sacraments make us holy, then it is by the Sacraments that this is accomplished. Namely, our salvation and sanctification.

Dear friend, what you just read is self-righteousness reformation, not God's free grace. 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

The Bible plainly teaches us how to get to Heaven—by putting our trust in the Gospel, which is the “Good News” that Jesus died on a cross to pay for our sins, was buried and three days later He bodily resurrected from the dead. This is the GOOD NEWS!!! Believe it, Oh guilty sinner, and you are saved!

Now, how does what Catholic.com and KinghtsRepublic.com compare with what we just read from the inspired King James Bible? Nowhere does the Bible teach to repent of your sins to be saved. Nowhere does the Bible teach to keep sacraments to be saved. In fact, the word “sacraments” is not even found in the Bible. Nowhere does the Bible teach to be water baptized to be saved.

Catholic.com Perverts 1st Peter 3:21 To Teach Baptismal Regeneration

On the Catholic.com webpage that I linked to earlier, they cite the following Scripture passage from 1st Peter 3:21 as a proof text that you must be water baptized to get to Heaven. This popular false doctrine is called Baptismal Regeneration. ...

1st Peter 3:20-22, “Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.”

But please take careful notice of the words following “whereunto even baptism doth also now save us”—it reads, “(not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,).” Water baptism cannot cleanse us from our sins, only the precious blood of Jesus can do that! Revelation 1:5-6, “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,  And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”

My ministry friend Pastor Max Younce (1935-2023) graduated to Heaven on August 11, 2023. I appreciate and miss him. Dr. Younce was a true scholar. I often referred to him as “the Dr. John R. Rice of our generation.” Evangelist John R. Rice (1895-1980) founded the Sword Of The Lord in 1934 and was a brilliant Bible scholar, having authored hundreds of books and helpful resources for people who wanted to learn the Holy Bible.

Dr. Younce wrote the following helpful information to explain 1st Peter 3:21...

1 Peter 3:20,21 "...When once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by (through) water. (20) The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh [i.e. our sins], but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ." (21) 

Several years ago, my wife and I were listening to the car radio, having just tuned into a religious broadcast. After a few minutes, the minister quoted one sentence from Verse 21, that being "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save 31 us"—period! He did not finish the verse; but, went on to explain, at great length, the necessity of baptism for salvation. 

Again, I cannot emphasize strongly enough the importance of reading all of a verse, including the surrounding text, to receive the correct interpretation and meaning. In 2 Timothy 2:15 we are instructed to "rightly" divide the Word of Truth;" NOT "rightly chop up the Word of Truth!" 

Since Verse 21 begins with "the like figure," it is referring to that which is set forth in Verse 20. It should be noticed that in Verse 20, the "eight souls that were saved by water" should be translated "saved through water"; NOT, "by water." The eight were saved from the flood waters by being in the ark—a type of Christ. They were not saved by the water for it was that which destroyed! Therefore, "the like figure" is figurative of the ark of Christ which provided absolute safety from the flood waters of death. The flood waters testify of death; and the ark, of resurrection. Notice Genesis 8:4, 

"And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat." 

It is not by chance that the ark (A type of Christ) rested on the mountain on the 7th month, on the 17th day. Centuries later, God changed the calendar. Noah's calendar was in effect until the emancipation of Israel from Egypt; and, God then instituted their religious calendar. The first month of Israel's religious calendar was the same as the 7th month of Noah's secular calendar, or our April. The Jewish Passover, representing Christ's death, was on the 14th day (Leviticus 23:4,5); therefore, Christ was resurrected three days later on the 17th, the same day the ark rested on the mountains of Ararat, showing resurrection. 

Conclusion: Baptism does not save us; but, identifies us publicly, showing our faith is in the death, and Resurrection of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus. 

Returning to 1 Peter 3:21 where the phrase "baptism doth also now save us" is explained within the verse, itself. Here we have the "negative" and the "positive." The "negative" tells us what baptism does not save us from. Here is the record...

"...not the putting away of the filth of the flesh,... (i.e. our sins)." 

Now the "positive" telling us what baptism does save us from, that being a GUILTY CONSCIENCE before God. Again, the record... 

"...but the answer of a good conscience toward God, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ." 

How simple the Scriptures are when we are willing to accept God's Word as our Authority. A child of God is saved by faith alone (Ephesians 2:8,9); but, will be void of a good, clear conscience; until they are willing to be identified with Christ by their public baptism. 

"Go ye therefore, and teach (i.e. make disciples of) all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (19) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." - Matthew 28:19,20

Again, I cannot emphasize strongly enough the importance of reading all of a verse, including the surrounding text, to receive the correct interpretation and meaning. In 2 Timothy 2:15 we are instructed to "rightly" divide the Word of Truth;" NOT "rightly chop up the Word of Truth!"

The false teachers at Catholic.com are guilty of violating the principle that Pastor Younce just taught. They “chop up” the Word of Truth by only quoting the first portion of 1st Peter 3:21, totally ignoring the last part of the verse.

Here is an exact quote from the heretical Catholic.com website...

So that’s what you need to do if you want to come to God and be saved: Repent, have faith, and be baptized.

Do you see how dishonest they are? They are merely cherry-picking the Bible, lifting text out of context to create a new pretext. By manipulating the Bible the way that Catholic.com does, you could literally teach ANYTHING! 1st Peter 3:21 says that water baptism does not put away the filth of our flesh. That is, water baptism cannot wash away our sins, only the precious blood of Jesus can do that! 1st John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Getting water baptized is the first step of obedience for a new believer. If we want to have a good conscience toward God, then we need to get baptized right away (which is the public profession of our Christian faith).

Roman Catholicism butchers the Holy Bible:

1. Whereas the Bible commands us not to call men “Father” or “Rabbi,” that is exactly what Catholics wickedly do! Matthew 23:9, “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.”
2. 1st Timothy 4:1-3 warns that false prophets will come, “Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats...” That is exactly what Catholics do, flagrantly violating God's Word!
3. There is nothing in the Bible about The Assumption of Mary.
4. There is nothing in the Bible about The Immaculate Conception of Mary.
5. There is nothing in the Bible about The Perpetual Virginity of Mary.
6. There is nothing in the Bible about about praying The Rosary to Mary.
7. There is nothing in the Bible about confessing your sins to a priest.
8. There is nothing in the Bible about sacraments.
9. There is nothing in the Bible about eating Jesus' body and drinking His blood.
10. There is nothing in the Bible about priests having power to forgive men's sins.
11. There is nothing in the Bible about clergy forbidden to get married.
12. There is nothing in the Bible about idolizing the Pope.
13. There is nothing in the Bible about Mortal versus Venial Sins.
14. There is nothing in the Bible about Purgatory.
15. There is nothing in the Bible about Holy Water.

I could literally list hundreds of manmade Catholic traditions that are not found in the Bible.

Sadly and tragically, there are over one billion Catholics in the world. Roman Catholicism is the biggest religious cult on planet earth! The Russian Orthodox Catholicism comes in second as the largest cult. Catholicism is a prisonhouse of religion!!!

Do you know what Catholicism really is friend? It is a religion for unregenerate men! That is, it is the religion of choice for unsaved religious people, for those who want an elaborate religious package from the cradle to the casket! But be forewarned dear reader—religion is a sure road to Hell. Religion never saved anybody! Salvation is not found in any religion; but rather, in the person and redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ! John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

It saddens me that billions of people have been given false hope by the Vatican, falsely told that they can find salvation through the sacraments of the Catholic Church. As I should you earlier from The Dark Knight website, they teach that holiness gets you to Heaven. But what does the Bible says? Isaiah 64:6, “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Your best effort to achieve holiness is filth to God! The reason why is because you cannot compensate for the sins you've already committed by cleaning up your act. This is why we are told in James 2:10, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” Even committing just one sin is enough to prevent someone from entering into Heaven (1st Corinthians 6:9-11). That is why we all need a Savior!

Until Catholics repent of their DEAD WORKS (Hebrews 6:1), and instead BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 16:30-31), they cannot be saved.

Catholics Don't Worship Mary?

Exodus 20:1-6, “And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;  And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”

Billions of lost people today are blinded by false religion. Catholics are in denial, denying that they worship idols while on their knees sinfully bowing to them.

In a wicked attempt to justify worshipping idols, Roman Catholics have even gone as far as to remove the second commandment of God not to worship graven images.

A person would have to choose to remain wilfully ignorant to continue in the Catholic religion, in view of the disturbing truths I have just shown you. The Devil is a beautiful liar and has deceived over one billion Catholics.

Nowhere does the inspired Word of God teach for Christians to recognize Mary, nor any other human being, except the God-man Jesus (1st Timothy 2:5). Mary was born with a sinful nature, just like you and me. Mary sinned, just like you and me. Mary died because the wages of sin is death, just like you and I will die. Mary was not assumed into Heaven, which the Catholic church made official dogma in 1950 (aka, the Assumption of Mary heresy).

Catholics have deified Mary, claiming she never sinned and was taken into Heaven by God. That is all demonic lies. Mary was no different than any other sinful human being, except that the Holy Spirit of God worked the miracle of a virgin birth in her body, to bring the only begotten Son of God into the world.
