Wise Men Lay Up Knowledge

Proverbs 10:14, “Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.”

A wise Christian doesn't wait until problems arise and then look for knowledge. A wise believer lays up knowledge in advance, so that they'll have it when they need it. But also, a godly believer lays up knowledge to help OTHERS, so that when you meet people who are having a rough time, you can help them in the Lord. I love listening to lots of preaching, and the King James Bible, so that I can lay up knowledge for myself and to help others.

By listening to preaching, you're laying up knowledge in advance. I've heard Dr. Jack Hyles (1926-2001) preach many sermons, where he says that the truth he's giving won't help the listener now, but some day they'll remember it and it will save their life or marriage. I have lived to prove Dr. Hyles' advice true! I never imagined during the eight years that I sat under Dr. Hyles' preaching at First Baptist Church of Hammond (1985-1993), that those truths would have a profound impact on my life decades later when my life fell apart, my wife divorced me in 2006, and it seemed that all hope was gone. I've since made it a regular habit to listen to as many of Brother Hyles' sermons as I can collect. I have literally thousands (2,526 so far) of MP3 sermons by Dr. Hyles. They are all precious to me!

Wise men lay up truth for a rainy day. That is why I collect quotes from sermons that I hear, sharing noteworthy truths with others to help them. Quotes are a great way of emphasizing helpful truths! Memorizing helpful Scriptures is another way to lay up knowledge. Psalm 119:11, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” I memorized Psalm 27:1 this week, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” I love that truth: 'THE LORD IS THE STRENGTH OF MY LIFE.' And He sure is the strength of our life dear friend, if you will let Him reign in your life!!!

I love preacher's quotes! I collect them like baseball cards, valuing sermons more than gold. I mean that literally!!! Pastor Castle preached this great truth...

That's great truth Brother!!! My friend, if you'll stay close to the Book of God and the God of the Book, you'll do just fine! Amen! We are fellow travelers to eternity and I care!

As I speak with people in my daily life, and answer e-mails, I try to think of sermons that I have heard, so I can season my words with grace to edify (build up) OTHERS. I often repeat a great quote (amongst hundreds of quotes) that I once heard from Dr. Jack Hyles:

“UNSHAKABLE FAITH COMES FROM HAVING YOUR FAITH SHAKEN!!!” I love that truth! It has helped me, and others, very much. Now I never would have heard and memorized that truth, unless I had listened to preaching!

The Bible says in Proverb 25:19, “Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.” That truth applies to one's personal life as well. If you wait until the roof caves in on your life, and everything is going wrong, before you search the Scriptures and start listening to preaching, it's like a broken tooth and a dislocated foot joint (which are VERY painful). Don't do that to yourself! Please be wise and lay up knowledge for when the storms of life come.

I love listening to preaching almost daily, so I can LAY UP KNOWLEDGE for me, for my family, for my web visitors, for my friends and others who need help. How can I help anybody if I don't lay up knowledge? The Word of God teaches that, WISE MEN LAY UP KNOWLEDGE!!! We live in a foolish society, where nearly everyone wants to watch TV and be entertained all day, laying up NOTHING! Proverb 18:1, “Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.”

Here is a great quote that I read in a book by the fiery fundamentalist preacher, Pastor J. Frank Norris (1877-1952):

“What we need is a school that teaches the whole English Bible. What is needed is a school that will take men from the engine cab, from between the plowshares and teach them the Bible. What is needed is a school that is free from modernism. What is needed is a school that will teach a man how to go out with the Bible under his arms, faith in his heart, and in the power of the Holy Spirit begin in a vacant lot and build a church to the glory of God.”

Don't Spend Too Much Time Listening to Secular Information

Colossians 3:1-3, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”

Do you love knowledge my friend? I really like Mark Dice. He's a great guy from all that I can tell. I believe he is a Christian. But I chose to stop watching his videos regularly (although I still do watch them), because they were waste of my time. Mark's videos are for shallow minds, mostly entertainment, not things that are edifying. The content is not edifying. It's not bad content, it's just not constructive, in my opinion. Politics, Hollywood and the mainstream newsmedia are a cesspool of iniquity these days.

I stopped watching Alex Jones too, although I still subscribe to Infowars. Alex has become so lame, just a sounding voice for President Trump. Alex has completely changed from the freedom fighter he used to be. Alex has sold out to the establishment. Donald Trump is not the answer to America's woes. When all is said and done, the United States will be more closer to the goals set forth by the Luciferian elite when he leaves office. I like Trump, on a personal level, as I do Alex Jones and Mark Dice, but I have been spending my time instead listening to God's men, King James Bible only preachers!!!

My website articles receive about 500 hits each within a week of publishing them, but Mark Dice's entertainment videos receive upwards of a million views a piece. People's minds are so shallow. Mark is making money on YouTube, so he gives simple minds what they want, entertainment. I'm not interested in making money from my ministry, not now, not ever. My reward is in Heaven (Matthew 6:19-20).

I'm not being critical of Mark Dice or Alex Jones in this article, I'm just saying that I think it's a big waste of my time to listen to them at length. One of the saddest commentaries of our generation is the lack of interest in Bible preaching. While the kooks, quacks and queers of the entertainment industry walk as gods among Americans, Bible preachers are ridiculed, shunned and hated as hate-mongers. THE TRUTH is considered hate to those who hate THE TRUTH!!!

We are living in the age of information. Literally, many people have turned informed into a god.

I Am Crucified With Christ, Yet I Live; Yet Not I, But Jesus Liveth in Me

Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

We are saved by TRUSTING Jesus, by receiving His sacrifice on the cross as payment for our sins, believing that He was buried and then bodily resurrected from the dead three days later. This is “THE GOSPEL.” That's all that God requires to be saved. Then, the first thing God wants us to do as a new believer is to be CRUCIFIED with Christ, by presenting our body as a living sacrifice to live for the Lord (Romans 12:1). The latter is DISCIPLESHIP, the former is SALVATION. Dr. Jack Hyles teaches this wonderful truth in his timeless MP3 sermon titled, “Steps To Sanctification; Or, The Root Of All Heresy!” I hope you'll listen to it, as I know it will bless your soul. This is a truth that needs to be laid up in your heart, as it has been in mind for many years now. Praise God for THE TRUTH!!!

I love the preceding and the following passages of Scripture:

Let's break down Colossians 3:1-3 to see what we can learn here shall we:

• JESUS CHRIST IS RISEN; THEREFORE,
• WE ARE TO SEEK HEAVENLY THINGS, WHERE CHRIST SITS ON THE FATHER'S RIGHT HAND.
• WE ARE TO SET OUR AFFECTION (THINK ABOUT) HEAVENLY THINGS, NOT EARTHLY THINGS.
• WE ARE DEAD IN CHRIST, AND JESUS IS OUR NEW LIFE.

Very few Christians live this Scripture. This is the key to the believer's happiness. No Christian who walks in the flesh can ever truly be happy. What type of heavenly things should we think about? Let's make a list shall we:

• SOUL-WINNING (Luke 15:10; 1st Peter 1:12)
• SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST (Philippians 3:20; Titus 2:13)
• LAY ASIDE DISTRACTIONS AND SIN, AND RUN THE RACE THAT IS SET BEFORE US (Hebrews 12:1)
• LAY UP TREASURES IN HEAVEN BY LABOURING FOR CHRIST (Matthew 6:19-20; 1st Corinthians 3:7-15)
• CARING FOR AND PREACHING THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR (Matthew 5:3)
• THE KING JAMES BIBLE (Psalm 119:89)
• LOVING AND FORGIVING EVERYONE WITH GOD'S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE (Matthew 6:14-15)

I've just listed but a few, but the entire Holy Bible ought to be our thoughts. I don't know about you, but I want to saturate my thinking and life with the things of God. The only way for a Christian to be happy in Jesus is to TRUST AND OBEY.

A Christian loves righteousness. Even though we are sinners who struggle with the desires of the flesh, we desire in our spirit to do right (Romans 7:14-25). I love God's promise of a new Heaven and earth, where righteousness will abound:

2nd Peter 3:13, “Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”

Wicked men refuse to listen to the preacher of righteousness, but they cannot escape their Creator in Heaven:

Hebrews 12:25-26, “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.”

We all make our choices in life. Some men fear and obey God, who will enter into everlasting peace and blessing. But most men do not fear nor obey God, and will be cast into the Lake of Fire for their unbelief. We do not go to Heaven because of what we do, but because of where we are looking... LOOK TO JESUS! Isaiah 45:22, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” Men have always been saved by trusting upon the Lord. Acts 10:43, “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.” As you just read, this was the witness of ALL THE PROPHETS!!! People in the Old Testament were saved the SAME WAY we are today, which is by faith. We read in Genesis 15:6, “And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness” (See also Romans 4:3-6).

Bible Preaching Helps Us to Think Right

Psalms 119:9, “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.”

American politics are a major waste of time and resources. The entire Republican and Democratic political system is Luciferian controlled at the top, as corrupt to the core as can be. God controls the government, the government does not control God. Daniel 2:21, “And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.” God has given to Americans the corrupt leaders that we deserve. Psalms 18:25-26, “With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright; With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.” With the crooked (froward) God dealeth crookedly. The United States is a crooked and perverse nation, and God has justly dealt with us as such.

Thank God for the small handful of fundamentalist Christians who have not bowed their knee to Baal. Philippians 2:15, “That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.” Men of all ages can still have a pure mind and live right in 2017!!! Psalms 119:9, “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.” If you want to live right, saturate your life with the King James Bible!!!!!!!

You and I need solid Bible preaching!!! I mean Pastor Danny Castle. I mean Dr. Jack Hyles. I mean Pastor Steven Anderson. I mean Pastor Max Younce. Bible preaching helps us to think straight. Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” We all need Bible preaching. We all need to spend time reading, meditating and studying God's Word in the inspired King James Bible. I encourage you, whoever you may be, to spend much more time listening to the King James Bible.

I like listening to Alexander Scourby. I encourage you to listen to lots of Bible preaching. Don't waste your time listening to spiritual casualties, wolves in sheep's clothing, like Joel Osteen, Rick Warren and John MacArthur. I wouldn't give you a plum nickel for a preacher who tries not to offend people. I'm talking about shameful ministers like Ravi Zacharias, who is infamous for always taking the easy way out, delivery vague speeches, kowtowing with Gospel rejecting Mormons, and who has sinfully received honors from the Roman Catholic Church.

Godly Believers Desire to Lay Up Sound Knowledge to Help Others

Proverb 25:11, “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.”

A selfish believer doesn't care about others. We are living in “perilous times,” as foretold in the Holy Scriptures. 2nd Timothy 3:1-2, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves...” I feel sorry for selfish people, and that includes selfish believers. We all tend to be selfish by nature. The Christian life is a supernatural life. This is true because the blessed Holy Spirit is a supernatural Being, Who indwells every born-again believer (1st Corinthians 3:16-17). Most professed Christians are selfish, self-conscience and self-centered. Self has no place in the Christian life. Notice that the center letter of the words “sin” and “pride” is the letter “i.” Self always gets us into trouble. Most believers have “i” trouble.

The Word of God teaches us to become as a fool to become wise. This is an amazing truth. 1st Corinthians 3:18, “Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.” Think about what God is saying. The path to wisdom is to become a fool!!! What does that mean? How does one become a fool? The Scriptures teach that to the unsaved person, the Gospel is foolishness. 1st Corinthians 1:21, “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” The heathen world thinks they are wise, but they are fools in God's sight.

The wisdom of the world goes totally contrary to the wisdom of man. Romans 1:22, “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.” 1st Corinthians 4:10, “We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.” What does this passage mean? It means preachers are hated by the world for telling the truth, but in Heaven's view Christians are wise. The evangelist is despised for stepping on sinner's toes. So we are talking about different perspectives here. From the world's view, those who preach the Gospel are despised as being fools.

But in reality, a righteous man is wise for trusting upon the Lord. The choice to have wisdom is an individual choice. Most people are simple, having neither wisdom nor wanting to be a fool. But effectively, the simple are gullible, just as the fool, because they lack wisdom. You get wisdom from the Word of God, from the Lord. Proverb 9:10, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” I fear God. I must give account to God one day for every word that comes out of my mouth (Matthew 13:26). And also, I must give account for every word that I type and upload to the internet. And so must you!

Are you wise? Do you fear God? Do you hate evil? Do you want to lay up knowledge beforehand, so that you will have it when you really need it? You won't always have godly counsel available when you need it. And if you lack wisdom, someone may give you some really bad advice. Behind every pulpit is a human being! You need God's wisdom for yourself, or else you'll be blown about by every wind of doctrine. We are living in a world of fools!!! Please get into the King James Bible.

I am listening to Alexander Scourby read the King James Bible (Revelation, Colossians, Philippians, Galatians and Ephesians) as I type this article. I need wisdom. I just heard a beautiful Scriptures from Galatians 3:8, “And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.” Isn't that beautiful? God JUSTIFIES THE HEATHEN... THROUGH FAITH!!! SO much for Lordship Salvation (which is a false gospel). We are saved by BELIEVING, not by repenting.

Repentance is always “toward God,” never from sin, to be saved. That is exactly what Acts 20:21 teaches. Acts 20:21, “Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” Anyone who teaches that you must repent by turning away from your sins to be saved is a false prophet. You get saved by turning toward Jesus Christ in faith to be saved. Obviously you need to turn “FROM” something in order to turn “TO” the Gospel. But that something you turn FROM is not what saves you, nor is it a requirement to be saved, as many false prophets claim these days. If you place your faith in Christ's sacrifice on the cross, as payment for your sins, believing that Jesus was buried and bodily raised up three days later, you are immediately, permanently and forever saved!!!

The man who believes has also repented! This is why we find the words “believe” and “believed” mentioned 85 times in the Gospel of John (which was written to convince men to be saved - Acts 20:31), but the word “repent” is never mentioned even once! John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” That's really good stuff, I hope you got all that. I learned these things from LAYING UP KNOWLEDGE, by searching the Scriptures and listening to much Bible-preaching.

I love to listen to music as much as anybody, and I do listen to music. But the average American has been listening to the same music—day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, decade after decade—the same songs TENS OF THOUSANDS OF TIMES!!! I'm not kidding, you know it's truth. We all have heard the same songs so many times. A shocking study shows that the average person listens accumulatively to 13 years of music during their lifetime! Goodnight in the morning!!! Think about that... 13 YEARS!!!

Is it any wonder why people's lives are so messed up? Is it any wonder why Americans are so gullible, dumbed-down, woefully ignorant and lacking common sense? I think not! My friend, turn off the radio sometimes! Turn off the television sometimes! If you haven't been laying up knowledge, I HIGHLY recommend that you turn off everything for the next 3 months, and spend as much time as possible wallowing in the Word of God. Listen to lots of Bible-preaching by fundamentalist preachers! Get you some doctrinally sound books from the Sword Of The Lord or Larry Harrison's classic Christian book gallery.

I am listening to a wonderful life-changing sermon right now by Pastor Jack Hyles called: "A Great Secret To Health." The secret to good health is threefold:

1. a bitter bitterness
2. a loving love
3. a forgiving forgiveness

In order to be healthy we have to first have some bitterness. God knows that stumbling blocks can become steppingstones by faith. A young Dwight L. Moody (1837-1899) couldn't even pass the test for church membership. The famous preacher, George W. Truett (1867-1944), accidentally killed his friend with a gun in a hunting trip. Evangelist Bill Rice's daughter became deaf as a baby, which compelled him and his wife to start the Bill Rice Ranch (where I attended for two years in a row as a teenager, which changed my life for Christ. I still clearly remember learning this new song at the Bill Rice Ranch in the early 1980's. I played the song's melody on my pedal steel guitar, so you can hear what it sounds like...

Teenager are you lonely, do you need a Friend?

Cast thy bread upon the waters the Bible says, and it shall return unto you! Ecclesiastes 11:1, “Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.”

Satan BLINDS the mind of a lost person, to prevent them from seeing the clarity and simplicity of “THE GOSPEL.” It is our job as God's children to take the Gospel to the lost, and explain the simplicity of God's plan of salvation with them. It is so easy, free and simple to get to Heaven.

We are all guilty sinners (Romans 3:23). We have all broken God's commandments (Romans 3:10-23).

There is a penalty for our sin, which is to spend eternity being punished in the fires and torments of Hell (Romans 6:23; Revelation 21:8).

But God in his wondrous love made a way of escape. God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, into the world to die for our sins on the cross (Romans 5:8). Jesus paid a debt that He didn't owe, because we owed a debt that we couldn't pay (2nd Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died in our place on the cross. He was buried. Three days later Christ bodily ressurected from the dead. This is the Gospel (the Good news) by which anyone can be saved, if we simply BELIEVE it (Romans 1:16; 1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Acts 16:30-31, “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

The Often Misunderstood Epistle Of 1st John

John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” 1st John 3:24, “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.”

I am now flying 50,000 feet over the Pacific Ocean, headed for Los Angeles. I have a few more hours of flight time, so I decided to get my laptop out and write an article. Why not? I want to write about a topic that has stirred quite a bit of controversy on the internet lately about the Epistle of 1st John. I have heard countless preachers misinterpret the Epistle of 1st John, using it to teach the deadly heresy of Calvinism.

It is very important to notice that God used the same writer for both the Gospel of John as well as the Epistle of 1st John. The apostle whom Jesus loved, John, penned both of these works. So this is a critical point to bring out. In the Gospel of John we are presented with God's very simple plan of salvation. We find the word “believe” mentioned 85 times in the Gospel of John, but there is no mention of anything else. Carefully note our text verse from John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” The inspired Word of God is abundantly clear that the way of salvation is to simply BELIEVE the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen (John 19-20; 1st Corinthians 15:1-4).

It is important to keep this in mind when interpreting the Epistle of 1st John. Why would John completely contradict everything that he taught in the Gospel of John, by requiring works for salvation in 1st John? That wouldn't make any sense. One of the key Scriptures of the Epistle of 1st John is 1st John 5:13, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” Please notice that this epistle is not written to the unsaved man, but to the born-again believer. John here is NOT giving a plan of salvation, he did that back in the Gospel of John. What John is doing here in 1st John is helping believers to recognize the work of the Holy Spirit in them.

Our part in salvation is simply to get out of the way, to cease from our own works, and REST completely in Christ alone (Hebrews 4:2, 10-11). What saith the Scripture? John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” I love that! They asked Jesus what “works” they needed to do to go to Heaven. The Lord simply said to “BELIEVE ON HIM.” The true Gospel always points you to Christ; a false gospel always points to you.

I fully agree with Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold, who said: “If you have to look at your life to prove that you are saved, it proves that you're not!” The only sure way that we can determine if someone else is saved, is by the direct testimony from their own mouth concerning Jesus Christ. But John writes to the INDIVIDUAL believer here in 1st John, helping us to recognize the fruit of the Holy Spirit in us. 1st John 3:24, “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” Carefully notice that the test is not to look for works in our life. The test is not to see if we love the brethren to prove that we are saved. The test is only to determine whether or not we have the blessed presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Every born-again believer has the Holy Spirit living inside them (1st Corinthians 3:16-17; Romans 8:9).

I like to give my own salvation testimony as an illustration, because I can explain that first hand. I was saved at 13 years of age, in an old-fashioned Baptist church on Chicago's Northside in 1980. I don't remember the name of the sermon that Sunday morning, but I do remember that the preacher said if you can sin, without any conviction from God's Holy Spirit, something is very wrong. I knew that morning that I was a big sinner. I knew that I had no conviction from God up until that point in my life.

For the first time in my life I felt conviction over my sins. That morning from my pew, I humbly received Jesus as my personal Savior. I simply received Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for my sins. No one told me that I had to try to stop sinning. The very idea is ridiculous. Eternal life is a free gift (Romans 5:15-18; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9), that you simply take by faith in the Good News of Jesus Christ (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).

“Salvation is not our doing, but it is something that the Lord does. We put our trust in Christ, He is the One that saves us. And again I repeat: He rescues us, He ransoms us, He redeems us, He regenerates us. All of that we find out, simply by reading the Bible.” —Pastor Sheldon Smith, Making A Difference radio broadcast; May 14, 2021; 'The Distinguishing Difference in the Christian Life - Part 10'

So it is a mistake to approach the Epistle of 1st John from any other standpoint that from a saved person's perspective. The apostle is speaking to BELIEVER'S, and is not providing a plan of salvation. John teaches us the simple plan of salvation back in the wonderful Gospel of John. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”

Evangelist Steve Pettit's Damnable Gospel

Galatians 1:6-9, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

May I say from the start that I do not hate Steve Pettit. I first heard Dr. Pettit preach on the topic of "Wisdom" at the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam in 2014. It was shortly thereafter that Dr. Pettit was inaugurated as the new executive president of Bob Jones University (BJU) in Greenville, South Carolina. Unfortunately, Steve Pettit is wrong on the Gospel and is not saved. It horrifies me to know that this man was a traveling evangelist for 30 years, living out of the back of an Recreational Vehicle (RV). I don't know what the leaders at BJU were thinking when they hired this dangerous man, but hiring Pettit put the nails in their coffin.

One of the most deadly false religions today is Seventh-Day Adventism (SDA). SDA's are so used to criticism that they are just quietly descending into the fires of Hell, without giving the matter a second thought. Furthermore, SDA's don't even believe that Hell exists! That is unfortunate for their sakes. The Bible teaches that Hell exists (Revelation 20:11-15). The most prominent figure in SDA is Miss Ellen G. White (1827-1915). Tragically, the false gospel which Steve Pettit preaches is identical to the counterfeit gospel of Ellen G. White. According to SDA doctrine, you must keep the Ten Commandments to prove the reality of the genuineness of your faith. If you fail to live according to God's Ten Commandments, then in SDA you are deemed unsaved because you don't love God, proving that your faith is false. Ellen White errantly teaches:

“That so-called faith in Christ which professes to release men from the obligation of obedience to God, is not faith, but presumption. 'By grace are ye saved through faith.' But 'faith, if it hath not works, is dead.'” —Miss Ellen G. White, 'Steps To Christ,' page 61

As you just read, Miss White says you cannot merely get saved by faith, you have to live a lifetime of faithfulness! In the preceding quote from Miss Ellen G. White's book, “Steps To Christ,” she teaches Lordship Salvation (which is a works-based false plan of salvation). She is essentially teaching the EXACT SAME heresy as Steve Pettit. Steve Pettit agrees with her! Pettit heretically states:

“You can't just speak about getting saved, and you accepted Christ, and then that's it! There is a justification; There is a sanctification; There's ultimately a glorification, and though there are three parts, they are all part of the whole, and you cannot separate them. In order for you to qualify for the award, you have to get into the race, you have to stay in the race, and you have to finish the race. If you want to win, you have to run to the end; and winning in the Christian life is everything, because if you lose—if you don't finish—you lose everything—you lose your SOUL. And so, the Christian race is the life of faith that begins, is run, and is finished when we cross over into Heaven!” [emphasis added] —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 11:34)

Dr. Pettit is a corrupt false prophet, who requires works for salvation. Heaven is not an "award," as he calls it. Steve Pettit errantly teaches:

“'The race' is a description of the whole of the Christian life of faith.” —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 4:26)

That is some dangerous talk when you include the next quote from Dr. Pettit, in which he teaches over 2,600 BJU students that the “AWARD” for running 'The Race' is “Heaven itself”!!!

“We run the race, we cross the finish line, and so what’s the prize? What is the award? Well, there are different viewpoints. Some would have the viewpoint that the awards are crowns in Heaven. But as I read the book of Hebrews and see the whole gist of the book and the flow of the book, I don’t believe its referring to crowns in Heaven. I think it is referring to Heaven itself.” [emphasis added] —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 22:57)

Heaven itself? Oh my! What saith the Scripture? 1st Corinthians 9:24-25, “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.” As you just read, the “award” will be an “INCORRUPTIBLE CROWN”; but Steve Pettit says it will be HEAVEN ITSELF!!!

Sadly, Pensacola Christian College (PCC) bids Godspeed to this Calvinist false doctrine, refusing to contend for the faith as the Bible commands. Titus 1:10-14 commands men of God to REBUKE THEM SHARPLY that they might be sound in the faith. I am just a humble guy with a website ministry, but if PCC took a firm stand against the perverse Bob Jones crowd, that would have much more impact for God. Sadly, the PCC camp are only interested in making money today to pay their bills. They don't care about joining the battle over the Bible, and the Bible over the Gospel. The Pensacola Christian College (PCC) crowd couldn't care less!!! I say that to their utter contempt and shame before God.

Dr. Steve Pettit is a false prophet! He does not understand the true Gospel, nor does what he preaches align with the inspired King James Bible. Sadly, BJU uses, sell and promote the Devil's English Standard Version (ESV). No wonder they have been corrupted doctrinally. Jesus warned that a corrupt tree can only bring firth corrupt fruit. Matthew 7:18, “A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.” Pastor J. Vernon McGee (1904-1988) rightly said these great words of truth:

Christianity is NOT a ceremony;
Christianity is NOT even the Church;
Christianity is NOT a system;
Christianity is a person, 
and that Person is the Lord Jesus Christ, 
and it's Who He is, and what He has done.
THAT'S CHRISTIANITY, and nothing else is Christianity. 
Oh, how we need to get back to HIM—the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

If we don't expose false teachers, who will? If not now, when? If not here, where? It has got to be done. The world will go to Hell if somebody doesn't speak with authority! I speak only on the authority of the Scriptures. I can back up everything I preach and teach with the inspired King James Bible, but Steve Pettit cannot. I triple-dog dare you to show me from the Bible where it says the "award" for faithfully running the Christian race is "Heaven itself." You cannot show me that! Steve Pettit is a dirty liar!!! Like the Apostle Paul, I am set for the defence of the Gospel. Every Christian believer ought to appoint himself as a guardian of one, to defend this sacred Holy Book, and the simplicity that is in Christ by faith alone, which it teaches.

We All Have An Ultimate Appointment With Death

Hebrews 9:27-28, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

I was thinking this week about George Harrison (1943-2001) of The Beatles. George was such a beautiful man. He had a great sense of humor. George loved life and people. Sadly, he didn't love the living God of the Holy Bible. Like tens of millions of American children, I remember seeing 'The Beatles' on television and I instantly loved their music. My favorite song by The Beatles, which I have seen bring men to tears, is 'All My Loving'...

Eerily, “All My Loving” was the song playing on the hospital radio, while medics were trying desperately to save John Lennon's life in 1980, after being shot by a nutcase with a .22 caliber gun. Mark Chapman (the gunman) is still serving life in prison in New York state. Gloria Chapman, Mark's wife, is an amazing woman, a born-again Christian, who has remained married to Mark for the past 40 years! She flies a few times a year to New York for pizza and congenial visits. I have always been intrigued by the history of The Beatles, from start to finish. The band has at least 140 iconic hits, which are truly masterpieces of music. I am a musician myself, so you may not understand my infatuation with The Beatles if you don't love music like I do. It amazes me how those young men were able to come up with so many beautiful songs, and incredible poetic lyrics like "Strawberry Fields" and "Penny Lane."

Now, before someone roasts me over their self-righteous legalistic flames, I do not sanction The Beatles. Today we look back on The Beatles as a novelty, but during their youth and hey day The Beatles led millions of youth into lives of sexual immorality, drug abuse and false religion. Sadly, none of The Beatles have honored Jesus Christ with their lives. I heard Paul McCartney boasting on a Late Night TV show a few years ago, that their U.S. tour manager brought them two prostitutes each in Las Vegas. Sin is no longer awful as it once was. Romans 7:13 teaches that God gave us His Law so that sin would become "exceedingly sinful." I wrote this article addressing whether or not Sir Paul McCartney is a Christian.

When I realize that Paul is going to Hell very soon, at age 79, it makes me sad, because I don't want to see someone that I admire so much burn in Hell forever. But dear reader, Paul has made his own choice! I am saddened that George is almost assuredly burning in Hell this moment and forever. Why? It is simply because no one can go to Heaven who is a sinner. You read correctly! NO ONE who has ever commit even one sin can enter into the Kingdom of God (James 2:10). So then who can go to Heaven? On your own it is impossible. That is why God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, into the world to die on a cross to pay our sin debt. Jesus paid a debt that He did not owe, because we owed a debt we could not pay.

You see friend, to be permitted into Heaven when you die, YOU MUST BE 100% SINLESS AND PERFECT, JUST LIKE GOD. But you say, "That is utterly impossible!" Yes, you are absolutely right. That is why we all need GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS!!! Romans 10:3-4, "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." Have you, dear friend, submitted yourself unto the righteousness of God, which is through faith alone in Christ Jesus? I have. I got saved at age 13, by simply ceasing from my own efforts and RESTING completely in Jesus Christ, and what He did to pay for my sins on the cross. It's that easy, free and simple to be saved. Simple BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 16:30-31).

Here Comes The Sun (by The Beatles)

I began this article saying that I was thinking about George Harrison this week. I thought about him mainly because he died so young, at only age 58. George ruined his health with cigarettes. In nearly every picture of him, he has a cancer stick in his mouth. Tobacco kills! Most people don't know that a crazy lunatic on prescription drugs broke into George's home in 1999, stabbing him 40 times! George's wife stopped him, hitting the criminal over the head with a vase. George came so close to dying. One of the stab wounds barely punctured his lung. Being famous has its pitfalls.

I loved George's sense of humor. He had just hired a new grounds-keeper to attend to the greenery of his mansion in England. It was the young guy's very first day on the job! While Harrison was being loaded by paramedics into the ambulance, George called him over and asked: “So, how do you like working here so far?” You gotta love George for his high spirits! I've studies his life. Harrison was a ladies man, a whoremonger (Hebrews 13:4).

It makes me sad to know that George's faith was in the false prophet Hara Krishna, instead of the Lord Jesus Christ. George thought Jesus was a good man, a prophet, a man full of wisdom, but by all indication Harrison never received Jesus Christ alone as His personal Savior. Jesus warned in John 3:7 that unless a man is born-again, he cannot enter into God's Kingdom. Being a generous, fun-loving and nice guy isn't enough to get anyone into Heaven! Jesus said in John 14:6 that He alone is the only way to God the Father.

If there's a chance that any of The Beatles will be in Heaven, it is John Lennon. You can verify online that for a brief time in his life, John professed faith in Jesus Christ. But because of public criticism against him, John fell away and did not mature in his faith (Luke 8:13). I would like to believe that this is the case with Lennon, but we simply do not know for sure. Was it just a publicity stunt? Did John just decide (as so many millions of people do) to merely live the Christian life, but he wasn't genuinely born-again? I cannot tell you. I don't know.

I sure hope John Lennon is in Heaven. I would like to believe that before he died, that George Harrison accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, but I find no evidence that he did. I do pray for The Beatles who are still alive (and I do literally pray for Paul and Ringo), that they would come to Christ before it is too late. There won't be any parties in the Lake of Fire, I promise you that on the authority of God's Word (Revelation 14:11).

I heard a sermon yesterday by Pastor Jack Hyles called: “She Sojourned Seven Years.” In this sermons Dr. Hyles says: “I'd better be the worst of the best, than the best of the worst!” Yes Sir! The church on its worst day, is better than the world on its worst day!!! The Beatles are of the world. That doesn't mean it is a sin to listen to their music. I don't see any harm in listening to songs like "Penny Lane" and "'Til There Was You" and "Silly Little Love Songs" (by Wings). I love those songs and grew up hearing them on the radio. They are not Christian songs, just like our national anthem and children's nursery songs are not Christian songs either.

As a Bible preacher, I take a stand against The Beatles because people need to know the truth. Although much of their music is pretty and enjoyable, the lifestyles of these unsaved men has been worldly and of the Devil. Today, as far as I can tell, The Beatles have matured and are living decent lives. But that doesn't make them Christians! Paul McCartney gave up substance abuse over 40 years ago. Paul is the epitome today of good health at age 79.

I have read that Ringo became a Christian, joining the Church of England. If that be true, George is still as lost as the Devil, because in the Church of Christ people are required to be water baptized (the heresy of Baptismal Regeneration) to go to Heaven. Friend, not one verse in the Holy Bible says to get dunked in a baptistery to get your sins forgiven. You need God's imputed righteousness, which only comes through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:9, “ And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:”

Someone who is older than me might criticize me for saying that I like The Beatles, but then they like Dean Martin (1917-1995), Frank Sinatra (1915-1998) or Sammy Davis Jr. (1925-1990). These three men were nicknamed "The Rat Pack" in Las Vegas, where they made their fortunes, mostly from entertainment. They drank booze, chased lewd women and lived lives of wickedness. Dean Martin was involved with the mob, which he later regretted his entire life. Sinatra was infamous for romancing underaged girls. Sammy Davis Jr. was made an honorary member of the 'Church of Satan' by its founder, Anton LaVey (1930-1997). The world is the world! So please understand that I separate my personal feelings (that I like The Beatles' music), from my Christian feelings (that they are serving their father, the Devil).

There are pastors whom I personally like (e.g., Marty Herron). But my Christian view of him is that he is a deadly snake, a wicked man who belongs in prison. Some people cannot separate their Christian opinion from their personal feelings, but I can and do. That is why when I met Pastor Herron at the GPO Mall on Guam in 2018, I walked right up and shook his hand. His mouth literally dropped open, because he was astonished that I wasn't upset with him, after I wrote and published hundreds of articles exposing the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam.

Kindly said, and God knows my heart, if Pastor Herron had simply invited me back to church, we would have become friends and I would have removed all my writings against him and Harvest from the web, but he refused. This ongoing battle between me and the Bob Jones University camp has always been a matter of principle, and not my own feelings. They made an issue of my telling THE TRUTH in 2014 at Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, which compelled me to REBUKE THEM SHARPLY (Titus 1:13-14) for their ungodly pastors telling me to shut up. God wants us to SPEAK UP; Satan wants us to SHUT UP! I'm speaking up!!!

George Harrison died in 2001, at only age 58. That was too young! I like to mention the year someone was born, and the year they died, as a reminder to all my web visitors that life is so short! We're here today and gone tomorrow! The days quickly turn into weeks, and then months, and before you know it years have passed, and decades. By God's grace, I will turn 55 years old on march 5, 2022. I will officially be a senior citizen. Say it ain't so! Where did my life go? It seems like just yesterday that I was playing football with my buddies in the street in Chicago where I grew up. It seems like just yesterday that I was playing the console video game "Space Invaders" at the local burger hangout for teenagers, while hearing the popular song "Tom Sawyer" by Rush (which mentions the game Space Invaders). It was great to be a teenager in the 1970 and 1980's! I loved it! But now I am old and in chronic neck pain all the time. My how time flies. My life will soon be over (and so will yours).

The $64,000 question is: "Have you been born again?" I mentioned being "born again" to a co-worker about 30 years ago, to which he replied: "That born-again stuff doesn't make any sense to me!" Well of course it doesn't, which is why Jesus explained it to Nicodemus in John chapter three. I encourage you dear reader to read or listen to John chapter 3, again and again, until it makes sense to you.

God told Adam and Eve that the day they sinned, they would die. The deceitful serpent told Eve that she wouldn't die, saying that God had lied to her. So Eve did eat, and then gave the forbidden fruit to Adam and he also did eat. They didn't die physically, just as the serpent had said. But they DID die spiritually, just as God had said. So both God and the serpent, didn't tell Adam and Eve all the facts. God was speaking in spiritual terms, but the serpent (Satan) was speaking in physical terms. That has been the way it is since the beginning—Satan appeals to our carnal flesh, but God's Holy Spirit appeals to our spirit. Romans 8:4, "That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." The Devil always appeals to our fleshly desires, tempting us to eat the forbidden fruit of sin; but the Holy Spirit always encourages us to walk in the Spirit of the Lord, that we might please God.

Life is so short! I could mention thousands of examples of people who have died so young. I watched a documentary today about World War II. The last battle fought by U.S. Soldiers was on the Japanese island of Okinawa in 1945. In one day 3,500 men were killed. U.S. President, Franklin D. Roosevelt cried when he heard this tragic news. Before it was over, at the end of 82 days of fighting, a total of 12,281 U.S. soldiers were killed just on Okinawa. The reason why the battle was so intense was that Okinawa was Japanese territory, not some rogue island in the Pacific. All toll, the war with Japan cost 25,000,000 lives. The saddest part is that 19,000,000 of those killed were civilians. Wars are started by old men, fought by young men, and everybody in the middle loses!

Just last week deadly tornadoes set down in the wee hours of the morning, killing 88 people! One just one block 7 children were killed. One victim was a precious 3-year-old little girl. Why do such tragedies happen? It is because of sin dear reader (Romans 5:12). It's not because of the particular sins of the people killed. Jesus made this truth clear in Luke 13:1-5). It is because of sin in general. The human race is depraved. All men are sinners (Romans 3:10-23). Every human being is a guilty sinner, both by nature and by choice.

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 9:11 that "TIME AND CHANGE" happeneth to all. That is an easy verse to remember because of "911." Those people were in the right place at the wrong time on 911. Have you ever thought about that? You can be in the wrong place at the right time, or the right place at the wrong time, or the right place at the right time, but you CANNOT be in the wrong place at the wrong time!!! If you were in the wrong place at the wrong time, you wouldn't be there at all! So keep that in mind.

The GOOD NEW is that God doesn't want anyone to perish into Hell in their sins (2nd Peter 3:9). God in His wondrous love has made a free way of escape, through faith in His only begotten Son, Jesus. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Simply BELIEVE dear friend. BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, Who died in your place on Calvary's cross, to pay your dent of sin. Jesus was buried and three days later He miraculously resurrected from the dead victoriously. This is "THE GOSPEL" by which we are saved, if we BELIEVE IT! (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Nothing more is required by God oh needy sinner, than simple childlike faith in the Gospel.

We all have an appointment with death. Only God knows that appointed time. It could be a fatal car crash this afternoon. It could be a sudden brain aneurysm, where a vein bursts. Or perhaps it will be a sudden heart-attack, which is what killed Pastor Jack Hyles in 2001. It could be a slower death, like prostate cancer, which killed Dr. Curtis Hutson in 1995. What will it be friend? We simply don't know until we know! Although I am ready to go to be with Jesus, I hope that God will give me as much time on earth as possible, so I can continue preaching THE TRUTH. I suffer in constant chronic neck pain.

My heart breaks to see so many stupid pastors today, like Jeff Redlin at Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College, sinfully bidding Godspeed to the Calvinists in the corrupt Bob Jones University camp. These wicked men only care about money, but they would never admit to such a shameful thing. Their deeds say otherwise than their words. I am faithfully exposing the error within the demonic BJU campo today, including their use, sale and support of the Devil's corruptible seed!

By changing the Word of God, Satan has lured tens of millions of churchgoers away from the inspired Word of God, leading them instead into the modern ecumenical church movement. The Devil's goal is to replace Bible theology with spirituality. But that is a different article for another day. Right now I am encouraging you to think about the fact that YOU dear reader have an appointment with death. I am ready for my appointment, are you?

Who Exactly Was Caspar Milquetoast?

Matthew 15:7-9, “Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

Brother Lester Roloff (1914-1982) often said, “The world is sick and tired of a bunch of Casper Milquetoasts climbing around in the pulpits today.” What or who is Casper Milquetoast? The term originated from a comic strip character in the 1920's named Casper Milquetoast. The term has come to define someone unassertive and timid. Brother, this describes most Baptist pastors today. Today's pastors are pansies! Is your pastor a Casper Milquetoast character?

Today we'd call such shallow pastors “Yellowbelly” from the Canadian comedy show Second City TV. A pastor who won't preach on Hell, fire and damnation from the pulpit is a yellowbellied coward. We need some preachers once again with backbone, not a wishbone! God has been faithful. I wish I could influence some men of God to get worked up! I'm trying and praying brother. The Lord is still able. God deserves our best as Christians! I'm tired of pastors who dress in fancy new clothes and have that gleam in their eye, but they avoid preaching on anything offensive and the alters are always empty at invitation time. Of course the alters are empty, there is no preaching that produces repentance! The baptistry gets used once every 6 months. Soul-winning is not taught. There is no organized time for the church to go witnessing in public. There is no bus ministry.

Brother Roloff says, “There's only one way to speak with authority and that's to saturate your soul and your mind with the Word of God.” The reason why pastors today are dead is because they are listening to dead ministers instead of the authoritative Word of God. I'm not trying to pick on Bob Jones University, but their primary focus today is to educate students in the “Liberal Arts.” That's like a Christian automotive-repair school. We need Bible Colleges to train Christian workers. I'm sick and tired of these wet noodles, spineless preachers, who come in from the Jell-O seminary with their tapioca message of the power of positive thinking.


We Need Above Average Preachers Who Actually Preach

The great need of the hour is PREACHING PREACHERS!!! A pastor cannot kowtow to his congregation and be the man of God that he ought to be. You've got to say it like it is, even at the risk of losing members. A preacher is supposed to say what God lays upon his heart. As Brother Roloff says, “My preaching is none of my business!” See, “TEACHING ON PREACHING!”

People are becoming desperate for help. My heart breaks often, wishing that I could personally help many of my web visitors who are struggling. I have heard so many heart-wrenching stories over the years, from dear people who are hurting. My friend, God needs you. There is a place in God's choir that only you can fill. If you are absent, no one else can replace your unique personality. God Needs Your Personality (by Dr. Jack Hyles). I need you. Without you my ministry has no purpose. I am hear to help you know the Lord Jesus Christ, and then to grow in grace and faith as a born-again Christian. “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2nd Corinthians 5:7).

By God's grace I'm doing my part to reach others. If every Christian believer did their part, we could reach America for Jesus Christ. The biggest mistake that any Christian could ever make is to think that the efforts of one person couldn't make a significant difference in the world. One Christian plus God equals a majority! The homosexual community are going totally against the Word of God. They are trying to intimidate and silence Christians around the Country, but we have God on our side, because we are on God's side. There is no controversy if you believe the Holy Bible!

Don't make God angry by saying that homosexuality is OK, because it's really not! God hates all sin, including homosexuality, which is a perversion of nature, sex and courtship. God doesn't make mistakes. Two men cannot naturally produce a child via carnal knowledge, nor can two women. The sinful world continually misinterprets God's Word, changing it into a lie as Romans 1:25 said they would, in an attempt to justify their wickedness.

America has gone to hell. Patriots are now now strongly labeled as “terrorists” in hundreds of Hollywood movies; such as, “DeJavu” with actor Denzel Washington. Few people realize that the fascist CIA (who started Homeland Security after 911) have a liaison working in Hollywood to incorporate brainwashing propaganda into movies. Literally, Americans are being turned against themselves and will be destroyed by their own stupid ignorance. The real terrorists are the criminals who've hi-jacked The White House since President John F. Kennedy's assassination and are now controlling the entire federal government. Congress has soul their souls to the Devil. Apart from divine intervention, our nation is effectively already doomed. I often feel like I'm wasting my time praying for the Harvest Baptist Church (HBC) on Guam. They are the tail of the diseased dog of ecumenicalism. Bob Jones University is the head. You could amputate the tail and the dog would still live, but if you cut off the head, the beast dies! Bob Jones University is the problem!!! I love the folks at Harvest, truly, but they have been woefully deceived by the Devil's at BJU!

Kindly said (in my humble opinion), Pastor Marty Herron (a BJU graduate) corrupted Harvest Baptist Church (HBC) on Guam for 19 years (1999-2018), bringing Dr. John MacArthur's damnable heresy into their church. I love pastor Herron (God knows my heart), but I have been silent long enough. I didn't realize until recently, just how corrupted the Bob Jones University crowd really is! Sadly, the new pastor of HBC is just as bad, continuing the errors, falsehoods and bidding Godspeed to false prophets' Dr. Steve Petit and Pastor John MacArthur.

I was saddened recently when I heard a shocking sermon preached by Dr. Steve Pettit in January of 2015 to the 2,700 students at Bob Jones University. The sermon is titled: 'What Does it Mean To Run The Race?' In the sermon (at 10:27 time) he teaches that you cannot merely say, “I got saved.” He says you “must persevere” in holiness, ministry and service to others for the rest of your earthly life. He calls Heaven an “award,” which he says you obtain by faithfully running the race, he says the race is “hard,” but to win the award you must run it until the finish. Folks, that is another gospel (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). Dr. Pettit has been the new president of BJU since 2014.

I love Harvest Baptist Church with all my heart, but they don't love God as they ought, so they don't love truth, and therefore they don't love me because I am a truth-teller! Looking back, I cannot believe how simply attending a Baptist church (in my desperate hour of need for their love and help in 2014), escalated into a major online war against Lordship Salvation, counterfeit Bible revisions, Calvinism, Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, and the apostasy at Bob Jones University. Honestly, I just wanted to sit in church and find a wife to love, cherish and care for. I was a hot potato for them, and I didn't even realize it at the time!

I heard Dr. Pettit preach on Guam in 2014 at the Harvest Baptist Church. I cried as he spoke on wisdom. I like Dr. Pettit, but if a man is wrong, he is wrong! Pastor Herron flew all the way to South Carolina from Guam in 2014 for his friend's inauguration at BJU. That's how close they are. I do not hate these men, but they have been deceived by Satan. They both idolize Pastor John MacArthur as their hero! Mr. MacArthur is a brilliant man. He really is! I have listened to about fifty of his sermons and learned a lot from him. It frustrates me that such a great preacher on so many topics, can be SO VERY WRONG on the most important truths of all—repentance, the Gospel, the blood of Jesus and salvation.

May I kindly say, Mr. MacArthur's oratory excellence, likable personality, strength of leadership, worldly wisdom, many wonderful good works, preaching in the name of Jesus, and faithfulness as a religious leader, does NOT make him saved or right with God! Matthew 7:22-23, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Many people familiar with the Bob Jones' camp admit that Bob Jones University has changed (some think for the better, some for the worse); I certainly think they have deteriorated over the years! Even my own Hyles-Anderson College camp has changed horribly since I graduated in 1993, denying the inspiration of the King James Bible since 2008. Respectfully, even Dr. Russell Anderson requested in 2015 to have his name removed from the college! What the hell happened in Hammond? That would make a good movie title! In 1927 when they opened their doors, Bob Jones' students used only the King James Bible, and all female students wore dresses, and salvation was still by God's grace alone through faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Today, none of these things are true! BJU's females shamefully dress just like the world, girl students wearing shorts on the ball field. The college now promotes and uses several different Bible revisions. Regrettably, Bob Jones (1883-1968) would burn the college to the ground from Heaven if he could today! I heard Dr. Hyles say that same exact thing about Hyles-Anderson College (which began in 1972).

The college's Statement of Faith openly require people to be willing to turn from their sins to be saved. That is reformation, not repentance; which does not produce regeneration (i.e., the new birth)! Dr. Steve Pettit perverts the Gospel! If you understand the true Gospel, then you ought to be as alarmed as I am about all this!!! If you're not, something is wrong with your walk with God. The epistle of Galatians was written to address the error of ADDING to the Gospel (Galatians 1:6-7; 3:1-3). I haven't added anything to the Gospel, the Bob Jones' crowd have!!! You cannot dismiss this stuff like it's not a big deal; not if you contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3). Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but NO ONE has a right to their own FACTS!!! The “Gospel” is clearly defined in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 and the entire Gospel of John (John 20:31). We are saved by believing the GOOD NEWS!

Only a wicked person would dare say that Bob Jones University has changed for the better over the decades!

John MacArthur Teaches Jesus DIDN'T Have God's Blood In His Veins

BJU is a cesspool of iniquity today, bidding Godspeed to the devil John MacArthur, who once attending Bob Jones College. Mr. MacArthur is inspired by demons when he teaches Jesus' blood was not sprinkled on the Mercy Seat in Heaven! Mr. MacArthur is inspired by demons when he teaches that Jesus did not have God's blood flowing in His veins! I'm not kidding folks, read his own words for yourself, which I quote below!!! If Jesus didn't have God's blood in His veins, then how could He be born of a virgin? It would be impossible!!! Since Jesus was God's only begotten Son, He absolutely had to have God's blood (not Adam's tainted blood) in His veins. Pastor M.R. DeHaan (1891-1965) explains this wonderful truth in his book titled: 'The Chemistry Of The Blood' (.PDF version). ...

“One statement in this passage calls for special attention. Paul says that God 'hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth.' Amen! Pastor DeHaan was a medical doctor before he was called to preach by God. So he knew what he was talking about, both as a doctor and a preacher!!! John MacArthur on the other hand, says Jesus' didn't have God's blood! Then Acts 20:28 in the Holy Bible is lying when it says, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” How could God purchase the Church with His own blood, if Jesus didn't have God's literal blood flowing in His veins? Mr. MacArthur is a theological LIAR!!! Why does Bob Jones University and Harvest Baptist Church on Guam bid Godspeed to this horribly corrupt FALSE TEACHER?

GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN!!! Evidently Mr. MacArthur forgot the VIRGIN BIRTH! What normal man has ever been born of a virgin? That's right, NONE! Jesus was 100% a man, but he had God's divine blood in His veins, making Him 100% God as well; otherwise Jesus would have had a sinful nature, just like you and me (Romans 5:12). Woe unto John MacArthur! Woe unto Bob Jones University for bidding him Godspeed! Woe unto Steve Pettit, Marty Herron and anyone who bids this false prophet Godspeed. Woe unto the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam for bidding this ungodly reprobate Godspeed! 2nd John 1:11, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” All of the aforementioned religious people have blood on their hands, for betraying the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

Like the Dark Knight, sometimes you have to become the villain in order to be the hero and protect the people! That is me! At least I know what I believe! The Bob Jones' camp cannot choose which Bible version to use, or which preacher is correct on the Gospel, or which way is right. The man with two watches never knows what time it is! Pastor Ryan Price Is Confused And Wrong In His Preaching!

I heard a preacher today named Pastor Ryan Price of the Fort Lauderdale Baptist Church in Florida. Pastor Price said in 2011 that John MacArthur is not a “damnable heretic.” What do you mean he's not a “damnable heretic”? Are you kidding? JOHN MACARTHUR IS A DAMNABLE HERETIC!!! In speaking about Calvinists John Piper and John MacArthur, Pastor Price said:

“I don't consider those men to be damnable heretics.” —Pastor Ryan Price, 'What Is Wrong With John MacArthur?' (0:50 time in video)

Yet, Pastor price horribly contradicts himself later in the same interview when he says:

“Lordship Salvation is a damnable heresy. John MacArthur is the leading proponent for Lordship Salvation!” —Pastor Ryan Price, 'What Is Wrong With John MacArthur?' (9:02 time in video)

Which is it? How can a man preach the damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation, but not be a damnable heretic himself? You better believe that John Piper and John MacArthur are damnable heretics! You absolutely cannot believe the inspired Word of God and follow these men regarding salvation. Pastor Price shamefully sums up his interview by making this foolish statement:

Saved? I seriously question if Ryan Price is saved, because he doesn't understand how God's grace works. Ryan might as well think the Catholic Pope is saved, who also professes faith in Jesus Christ!!! Think about that. Pastor Price speaks as a religious fool. No preacher is saved who perverts the Gospel of free grace!!!

I Love The Bob Jones Crowd At Harvest Baptist Church

It became clear to me this week that Harvest Baptist Church will never let me come back to church, and truthfully, I shouldn't even want to. What a hellhole of apostasy Bob Jones University has become in 2020! They are a close-knit group! The Harvest Baptist Church on Guam is saturated with BJU's alumni, pastors, indifference, arrogance, fake Bibles, false gospels and doctrinal corruption!

I just haven't had anywhere else to go all these years. When I needed them the most, they left me for dead. Love blinds a man! I have been torn between my love for two women in their church (at different times, that my heart still longs toward), and continuing to take an uncompromising stand against their apostasy, which assuredly guarantees they will NEVER accept me back, and I can forget ever finding a wife there. My hope has always been that if I married a woman there, that she would follow my faith.

Perhaps I have been foolish to think I can convert a daughter of evangelicalism. Perhaps there are no godly women at Harvest! You can't blame a single guy who is lonely for seeking a wife in an independent Baptist church. Unfortunately, that title means absolutely nothing these days. If you've been paying attention throughout this article, your mouth is probably dropping open in shock at what is going on at Bob Jones University, and in professed independent Baptist churches like Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. I get lonely every day, wanting a wife, but it helps me to know how lonely God feels, being outside the gate, despised and rejected of men (Isaiah 53:3).

Since I am not married, and seeking a wife, my feelings are mixed because I don't have one woman to direct them toward. Neither of the two women I wrote love letters to at Harvest, showed the least bit of interest in me. I wrote to them at different times. I fell in love with their nurse, because she liked me, but then she didn't want me anymore when I got into a battle with her bosses over the King James Bible. The other woman moved into my neighborhood years later, and I loved her the day I first saw her, but she likewise doesn't want me, because of the situation with the pastors and me.

God willing, I will continue to PREACH THE WORD without apology, taking a stand for the truth of the Gospel and the inspired King James Bible!!! To God be all the glory, great things He hath done, and is doing. I love you all!!! Now I am now finally starting to see the big picture in 2020, from the things I have recently discovered. Now I see the dark gloomy nightmare at Bob Jones University, and the unsaved reprobate that Dr. Steve Pettit really is, and their ungodly bidding Godspeed to Dr. John MacArthur (one of the most evil men to ever stand behind a church pulpit), and their blatant indifference toward the inspired Word of God (by embracing and promoting corruptible seed). I honestly think Satan has as much of a chance of repenting, as does the shameful deceived Bob Jones' camp!!!

Calvinism Instills Fear In Its Followers

Matthew 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Calvinism is a lie of Satan, not the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ. In God's true plan of salvation in the Bible, you simply come to God as an admitted guilty sinner and receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that Christ was buried and raised up from the dead three days later (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Acts 16:30b-31, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

In sharp contrast, in the Devil's lie of Calvinism, you are taught that you cannot KNOW 100% that you are saved at the time you accept Christ. Don't take my word for it, here are some heretical quotes from unsaved infidels preying from the pulpit today in churches.

Evangelist Steve Pettit (president of Bob Jones University) heretically said this:

“You can't just speak about getting saved, and you accepted Christ, and then that's it! There is a justification; There is a sanctification; There's ultimately a glorification, and though there are three parts, they are all part of the whole, and you cannot separate them. In order for you to qualify for the award, you have to get into the race, you have to stay in the race, and you have to finish the race. If you want to win, you have to run to the end; and winning in the Christian life is everything, because if you lose—if you don't finish—you lose everything—you lose your SOUL. And so, the Christian race is the life of faith that begins, is run, and is finished when we cross over into Heaven!” [emphasis added] —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 11:34)

Pastor Paul Washer heretically said this:

“We talk about the Germans of the 20th centuries that brought on their higher criticism. It is not near as dangerous as conservative Baptists with their gospel reductionism. How dare we, all these stupid evangelists walking around telling men after they've made some little prayer that they need to write their name in the back of their Bible, and put the date and if the Devil ever comes to them, they need to show him that. That is Roman superstition, it is not the gospel of Jesus Christ. You see we've turned the gospel into a flu-shot.” —Paul Washer Sermonette

On page 1513 of THE EVIDENCE BIBLE, under the section “Questions & Objections,” Evangelist Ray Comfort addresses the statement: “Because Jesus died on the cross we are forgiven of every sin.” Here’s Ray Comfort’s heretical reply to this statement:

“The forgiveness that is in Jesus Christ is conditional upon ‘repentance towards God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ’ (Acts 20:21). It is a gift that God offers to everyone, but individuals must receive it by repenting and trusting in Christ, or they will remain dead in their sins. No one has Biblical grounds to continue in sin, assuming that they are safe just because Jesus died on the cross. See 1 John 3:4-6.” [Emphasis added] —THE EVIDENCE BIBLE, by Ray Comfort, pg. 1513; 2003, Bridge-Logos Publishers, Orlando, Florida

Do you see how these ungodly false teachers are perverting the new birth, instead teaching that you cannot KNOW 100% you are eternally secure at the time you get saved. This is because they are deceiving rotten Calvinists! I say that kindly but truthfully. In the Calvinist's errant mindset, you must prove the reality of the genuineness of your faith—by living a changed life, by turning away from a lifestyle of sin, and living a permanent lifestyle as such. If you think I am exaggerating, please read this shocking heresy by Ray Comfort, in which he heretically requires people to LIVE A LIFESTYLE to get to Heaven!!!

Dear reader, you are in fact Biblically 100% safe and don't need to ASS-U-ME anything, because God has solemnly promised "TO SAVE THEM THAT BELIEVE." 1st Corinthians 1:21, “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” You have God's promise!!! Anyone who puts their trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior instantly becomes a born-again child of God. ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED! Ray Comfort doesn't believe that! Paul Washer doesn't believe that! Steve Pettit doesn't believe that! Eternal life is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty!!!

I just shared their heretical quotes with you, which instills fear and worry into the hearts and minds of their deceived followers. You CAN absolutely know you are eternally saved the very moment you put your faith in Jesus Christ!!!!!!! How else could we obey the Lord's command to “rejoice, because your names are written in heaven” (Luke 10:20b). If my name is written in Heaven, then I KNOW I am saved. So what is this garbage theology that Paul Washer is preaching which says I cannot write down your name, date and place where you got saved? You absolutely CAN write down the time, place and your name where and when you were saved!!! That is why the Bible calls getting saved a new birth (born again - 1st Peter 1:23). John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

The Christian life begins with a new birth, just as your earthly life began with a physical birth. Once you were born physically, it was a done deal. Likewise, once you are born again into God's family, it is a done deal. Calvinists will insist that you are not safe, and cannot be assured of Heaven unless you persevere to live a sanctified life. That is NOT the free grace of God. The Bible clearly teaches that eternal life is a free gift from God (Romans 5:15-18; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9). All you need to do to receive a gift is take it. That is all you need to do to receive God's free gift of eternal life, simply take it by putting your childlike faith (confidence) in Jesus Christ.

I have a very good question for Calvinists? The $64,000 question is: If we must persevere to be saved, then how can we ever know when or if we are saved? My friend Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold preached an entire sermon on this very subject. The sermon is titled: 'Questions Calvinists Cannot Answer.' Calvinists cannot answer that question! They cannot tell you WHEN you can KNOW 100% that you are saved certain, and can boldly proclaim that you ARE going to Heaven? That is a works-based plan of salvation. The proper mindset for a born-again child of God is that I CAN know 100% right now that I am forever saved. I can KNOW now because eternal life is the free gift of God, which Jesus fully paid for with His precious blood. Christ died on the cross to pay our debt of sin! Therefore, anyone who accepts Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for their sin is saved!

That is exactly why Jesus told every saint of God in Luke 10:20, “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Now, how could we REJOICE unless we had the total confidence that we are presently saved certain and forever? We couldn't! The fact that Jesus commands every believer to REJOICE, that our name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life in Heaven, is clear PROOF that ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED (OSAS)!!!

Bob Jones University and Company Preach Another Gospel!

Being born-again is a one time new birth, not an ongoing process! Sanctification is an ongoing lifetime process, but it has nothing to do with the gift of eternal life, which is by faith alone. We must NEVER mix, confuse or combine justification with sanctification, lest we corrupt the inspired Word of God and cast stumbling blocks before the people. Pilgrim's Progress author, John Bunyan, made this excellent helpful comment:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan (1628-1688)

Amen and amen! For Calvinists to ADD to the Gospel, by requiring people to live a better life, turn away from sinful behavior, and prove that their faith in genuine by living a certain way, is a counterfeit Gospel. Calvinists pervert the grace of God, instilling fear into people by making them worry constantly, that living in sin means their faith is not real. How in the world is this not 100% a works-based plan of salvation (or better said, plan of damnation)? How is this not trying to keep the law to be saved? (Romans 3:19-20)

In God's true plan of salvation, you CAN 100% know that you are saved regardless of how you choose to live, because it is a gift. In God's true plan of salvation, you CAN go out and live like the Devil and still KNOW 100% that you have eternal life. Would you give someone a birthday gift and then afterwards require them to live a certain way to keep it, or to prove that they were sincere when they accepted it? That would be absurd! Well it is no more absurd than what Calvinists are preaching! Beware of theologians! Beware of corrupt preachers! "What saith the Scripture," should always be our earnest question (Romans 4:3). Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

I got gloriously saved at age 13. That was 41 years ago. It was an immediate permanent new birth. I instantly became God's adopted and redeemed child by faith in Christ, forever saved and sealed by the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:12-14). Truly, I could go out and live like the Devil if I wanted to, and still be 100% safe in my eternal life and redemption!!! The reason why is because my salvation is based solely upon GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS, and not my own goodness. Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” I love that Bible verse!!!

This one Scripture passage in Philippians 3:9 blows Calvinism right out of the water! I am sick of lying Calvinists (aka, proponents of "Lordship" Salvation) saying that we are not saved by works, but then contradict themselves by saying if you are saved you will have works. That is a backdoor approach to adding works to faith, because Calvinists teach if you don't have works then your faith is not genuine. By attaching works to faith, they have absolutely corrupted the Word of God, perverted the Gospel and cast stumbling blocks before the people, confusing and instilling needless fear into their souls, and thus damning souls to the Lake of Fire forever (Revelation 20:12-15). Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again, which is EXACTLY what Calvinists are doing!!! Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

My justification (sins forgiven) has NOTHING to do with my sanctification (becoming more Christlike). Discipleship and sonship must be kept separate! The simplicity that is in Christ means that we are saved by simply trusting Christ. You don't have to live a changed life to prove that your faith is real. Calvinism perverts the Gospel, instilling fear in its followers, leading them to falsely labor to live a moral and committed life to Christ to validate their faith, which is 100% a works-based Seventh-Day Adventist type of Lordship salvation. Dear reader, you CAN know 100% right now that you are eternally saved, by childlike faith alone in Jesus Christ. The life that you choose to live is a separate matter of discipleship, not sonship. It is a matter of sanctification, not justification. It is a matter of proving how much you love Jesus (John 14:15), not how genuine your trust in Him is as your Savior (Romans 4:4-7).

How simple is the Gospel? In John 11:25-26 we once again see that salvation is obtained freely by simple childlike faith in the only begotten Son of God. BELIEVE, oh guilty sinner, and you are forever saved! Jesus didn't ask Martha if she was ready or willing to repent and turn away from her sins (which Bob Jones University errantly requires on their website). Jesus didn't ask Martha if she had surrendered "all" to Him as Lord (which Pastor John MacArthur errantly requires). Jesus didn't ask Martha to repent AND believe to be saved (as Ray Comfort errantly requires). Jesus didn't ask Martha to start, run and finish the race to win the award of salvation (as Steve Pettit errantly requires). Jesus SIMPLY asked Martha if she BELIEVED that He is the Resurrection and the Life?

Jesus SIMPLY asked Martha if she believed that He gives eternal life? John 6:47, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." Simply BELIEVE oh guilty sinner to be immediately, irrevocably and eternally saved!!! Believe the Good News (Gospel) that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, He was buried, and three days later Jesus raised up from the dead (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Galatians 3:26, "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus."

Nothing You've Been Through Will Be Wasted

Romans 8:28-29, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."

I am not a big Pastor T.D. Jakes fan, but this is one of the most encouraging sermons that I have ever heard. It is so beautiful, called: "NOTHING YOU'VE BEEN THOUGH WILL BE WASTED." God can take all the bad things in our life (our failures, the heartaches, the stupid decisions we've made, the losses and the seemingly wasted years) and still use it all somehow for His glory, to accomplish His will and save many people alive.

Moses was a total misfit. He didn't fit in with the Egyptians, because Moses was a Hebrew. Neither did Moses fit in with the Hebrews, because he was raised in Pharaoh's house by Pharaoh's daughter. Nor did Moses fit in with the Midiantes, since he was a total outsider who didn't grow up in their culture. Moses killed an Egyptian who was abusing one of his Hebrew brethren. Moses fled to the backside of the desert for the next 40 years.

It must have seemed like a total waste of life and time to Moses. But then at age 80 God called Moses to lead the Hebrews (God's people) out of bondage from Egypt. Moses led the Jews into the desert, the very place where he had just spent the past 40 years learning how to survive there! Nothing in Moses' past went to waste. Likewise, God can use all of the experiences and hardships from our past for His purpose and glory, if we'll simply yield our bodies to God as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). What a precious truth!
