Am I Not Saved Because I Have Doubts?

1st Corinthians 10:13, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

The Word of God teaches that we as humans all have the same common temptations. Doubting one's salvation is a common issue. Certainly it is not a sin to doubt and/or fear something that you may not clearly understand. The blame for so many churchgoers being unable to settle the matter of God's gift of eternal life, lays primarily on the shoulders of pastors, for failing to clarify God's simple plan of salvation. Tragically, preachers are guilty more than anyone of complicating the Gospel.

I love something that Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold said:
“There is power in this Gospel message. Most people just don't know how to present it... The clarity of the Gospel is what makes it easy for them to believe.”—Pastor Yankee Arnold, a quote from the excellent MP3 sermon titled, “WHY GRACE CAN SAVE THE WORST MAN!”
Someone today asked me if he is not saved because he has doubts...
I was at a missions conference yesterday and a preacher quoted a Spurgeon quote, which caused me to doubt my salvation. The quote went something like, if you don't know Gods will in your life you're not saved. Have you ever had these feelings of doubt?
To answer your question, yes, I sure have! I had many feelings of doubt for several years after I got saved at age 13. What confused me so much was that every preacher I had ever heard, and every religious tract I had ever read, all ended by leading someone to PRAY to be saved. That confused me concerning the simplicity of God's plan of salvation.

Even though I knew that praying didn't save me, I thought prayer was the vehicle through which you put my trust in Jesus to be saved. Since I couldn't remembered exactly what I had prayed for the years to follow, I worried. I literally cried tears in fear of going to Hell, because I couldn't remember what I had prayed. I wrote this helpful articles about it. And also, this one.

Pastor Charles Spurgeon was a partial Calvinist, somewhat corrupt in his theology, although he did make some astoundingly brilliant theological statements, just as Dr. John MacArthur does. Unfortunately, if a man is wrong on repentance he cannot be trusted. It is like buttoning a dress shirt; that is, if you get the first button wrong, then all the other buttons will be wrong too. I advise people to avoid listening to Charles Spurgeon, because he was wrong on salvation. He got the faith and grace part right, but he messed up when he mixes sanctification with justification, confusing people's minds.

I love what Pilgrim's Progress book author, John Bunyan (1628-1688) wisely said concerning this matter:
“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —Evangelist John Bunyan
Bravo John Bunyan! I love that guy! The following truthful quote by John Bunyan in this image, refutes the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation (which heresy teaches that you're not saved unless your life has changed to prove it). . . .

I used to worry and ask myself, "What if?" What if I am not saved and miss Heaven? What if I go to Hell forever? What if? What if? What if? It drove me nuts for several years.

When I was 17 years old I finally mustered up enough courage to go talk with my Baptist pastor about the matter. I had never felt so nervous, as I walked toward the door of my pastor's office (at the Christian school I attended at our Baptist church in Chicago). I shared my worries and concerns with my pastor. He horribly assumed that since I didn't know I was saved, I must not be.

He then did the absolute worse thing he could have ever done—he led me in another Sinner's Prayer. 1-2-3, repeat after me. Oh boy! I felt sick in my soul. When I left his office, after having just prayed to ask Jesus to save me, I felt as worried and as lost as before I talked with him. It is tragic that pastors have turned God's simple plan of salvation into a ritualistic prayer. I encourage you dear reader to listen to Pastor Jack Hyles' helpful sermon titled, "Fundamentalist Heresy" in which he teaches that a sinner doesn't need to pray to be saved. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

After several years, I eventually learned enough about salvation in the Bible to stop worrying, but I still didn't have 100% perfect peace. A couple decades later, I read a helpful book by Pastor Max Younce which open the eyes of my understanding, titled: "SALVATION AND THE PUBLIC INVITATION." Original source. Pastor Younce graciously gave me permission to repost and share all his books freely on social media. THANK YOU Dr. Younce!!!

I highly recommend that you read this book by Dr. Younce. He went to Heaven on August 11, 2023. I dearly miss my ministry friend. Here is the church website for the Heritage Baptist Bible Church in Walnut Grove, Minnesota, where Dr. Younce was pastor since 1992 to 2023. He wrote dozens of books which are all freely available in .pdf format, or for purchase. I love that Dr. Younce shared all his hard work freely to those who want it.

So, again, to answer your question, I DID have many doubts for many years. It's like walking into a dark room, there is fear of what we don't know. I feared what I didn't understand. The way to rid those fears is to keep studying and asking questions until you find perfect peace. What finally solidified my salvation beliefs was reading Dr. Younce's book on SALVATION AND THE PUBLIC INVITATION. Dr. Younce teaches the biblical truth that no one needs to pray or walk down a church aisle to be saved. The Bible simply tells us to believe. John 6:47, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." No one in the Bible was required to pray to be saved, but just BELIEVE the Gospel (the Good News) of Jesus' death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Faith plus the Gospel equals eternal life.

The reason why the book helped me so much is that I was saved in a church pew on a Sunday morning in 1980. I was too shy to walk forward during the invitation. But God's Holy Spirit convicted my heart that day, for the first time in my life, that I needed to get saved. The pastor said if you can sin, and have no conviction from the indwelling Holy Spirit whatsoever, then you are not saved. I knew I didn't have the Holy Spirit. But since that day until the present, I have had God's blessed Holy Spirit presence in my life, because I trusted Jesus as my personal Savior at age 13. I am not sure what quote by Spurgeon that you heard yesterday, but not knowing God's will has absolutely nothing to do with the new birth. I also encourage you to read this helpful printed sermon by Dr. Curtis Hutson titled: "THE ONE THING THAT DETERMINES SALVATION."

The Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation has confused millions of churchgoers, causing them to fear not being saved due to the sinful bad habits that we all struggle with (Romans 7:14-25).

One of my favorite free grace Gospel preachers is Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold. This guy is special. I don't know of a preacher any more than Dr. Yankee Arnold who emphasizes the simplicity of salvation. Most preachers today are guilty of embellishing the Gospel, which confuses people by obscuring God's simple plan of salvation. Yankee Arnold will help you my friend, I am confident. I hope you will listen to some of his sermons on YouTube.

And also, I cannot recommend enough that you read one of my favorite books by Michael P. Bowen's helpful book: "I NEVER KNEW YOU." And finally, most of all, I recommend that you kick back, close your eyes, and just listen to Alexander Scourby read the Gospel of John, over and over, and you will hear how easy, free and simple it is to be saved.

You can listen to the entire Gospel of John in 1:46 hours. According to John 20:31, the Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract. I hear Billy Graham, Ray Comfort and other infidels citing Matthew, Mark and Luke to try to prove their damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation, but God authored the Gospel of JOHN for the specific purpose of convincing the reader that Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God, and that by BELIEVING we will be saved. I hope this has been edifying to you my friend. God bless.

Beware Of The Corrupt John Nelson Darby (JND) Bible Version

Deuteronomy 4:2, “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.”

Dear reader, I am not overexaggerating to say that ALL modern Bible versions are corrupt. I could pick any of of hundreds of Bible revisions still available on the market, and show you corruptions galore in every one of them. Today we will be examining the John Nelson Darby version...
JND - Matthew 8:2, “And behold, a leper came up to him and did him homage, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou art able to cleanse me.”

KJV - Matthew 8:2, “And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.”
The word “homage” means “respectful defence, that is, an expression of courtesy.” The word “worshipped” is entirely different, which is self-explanatory. Every modern Bible revision removes the word “worshipped” and replaced it with “bowed,” “knelt” or as we just saw, “homage.” None of these words come even close to the majestic word, “worshipped.” The leper worshipped Jesus in Matthew 8:2, he didn't merely show Him homage. You can bow before a king to show homage, or kneel to propose to your girlfriend, but to worship Jesus as God is something entirely different. The new Bible revisions are of the Devil.

Here is a serious corruption in the John Nelson Darby (JND) version...
JND - Romans 1:20, “for from the world's creation the invisible things of him are perceived, being apprehended by the mind through the things that are made, both his eternal power and divinity,—so as to render them inexcusable.”

KJV - Romans 1:20, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”
The word “divinity” is very different in conveyed meaning than the word “Godhead.” They have effectively removed the Trinity from this passage, which is wicked. They are attacking the truth of the triune nature and existence of God.

Here is another corruption in the JND perversion...
JND - Romans 10:9, “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from among the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

KJV - Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
To confess “the Lord Jesus” is something quite different than to confess “Jesus as Lord.” You do not have to confess Jesus as the Lord of your life to get to Heaven. This is the damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation, which heresy is unfortunately taught in nearly every neo-evangelical church cults today. Where do you think such pastors get that damnable doctrine from? They get it from counterfeit Bible versions like the John Nelson Darby Bible (JND).

What's that, you want more? Okay, you got it! ...
JND - 1st John 5:7, “For they that bear witness are three:”

KJV - 1st John 5:7, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
Here you can clearly see where they again removed the Trinity, that is, the Godhead. The Devil's modern Bible revisions all make a brutal assault on the Godhead, Jesus' deity and the blood of Christ.

Hey, take a look at this travesty in the JND version...
JND - Acts 8:37, “(Verse 37 is omitted in this translation.)”

KJV - Acts 8:37, “And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

Oh boy! What saith the Scripture? Deuteronomy 4:2, “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.” John Darby has blood on his hands for perverting the Words of the Living God (Jeremiah 23:36). Darby's original New Testament Bible was published in 1867, then revised in 1872 and 1884. After Darby's death in 1882 his students finished the Darby version Old Testament in 1890.

Dear reader, I could show you umpteen more alterations made by wicked men to the inspired Holy Bible, changed merely so that they could obtain a legal copyright from the U.S. government's copyright office. They need a copyright to sell their new work.

Rothchild, Darby And Scofield—Satanists

Pastor Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892) exposed John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) as an unsaved infidel...
MR. GRANT HAS with very great diligence collected much valuable information as to that section of Plymouth Brethren who follow Mr. Darby. As on all hands, with a diligence never exceeded, and a subtlety never equaled, they are laboring to seduce the members of our churches to the subversion of the truth and the overthrow of the needful order and discipline of our Zion, it may be well to disseminate information concerning their sentiments and tactics.
SOURCE: “Mr. Grant On 'The Darby Brethren,'” by Charles Spurgeon from his June 1869 edition of the 'Sword and Trowel'
A British author and newspaper editor named James Grant (1802-1879) wrote this:
“With the deadly heresies entertained and taught by the Plymouth Brethren, in relation to some of the most momentous of all the doctrines of the Gospel, and to which I have adverted at some length, I feel assured that my readers will not be surprised at any other views, however unscriptural and pernicious they may be, which the Darbyites have embraced and zealously seek to propagate.”

John Darby is considered by most theologians to be the father of modern-day Dispensationalism (a false doctrine). I don't like dispensational teaching, simply because the Bible does not teach it. Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951) said that dispensational teaching is an overlay to the Scriptures, to help the student. Dr. Ironside said it is not Bible doctrine, it is just an overlay. Albeit, I humbly disagree. I think it is doctrine, because it affects the student's mindset and attitude toward the Bible. In the worst case of ultra-dispensational teaching, it indoctrinates a student with the heresy of Zionism, compelling the student to idolize manmade Israel instead of emphasizing preaching the Gospel as the Bible intended.

Likewise, I avoid theology, which has led many believers into a graveyard of deeper-life debates, ramblings and discussions that always lead nowhere. I'd rather take the truth of God's inspired Word to rescue lost sinners from the fires of Hell, feed Jesus' sheep with simple Bible truths, reach families and build men's lives for God; rather than try to impress others with hermeneutics, eschatology, soteriology and other worthless -isms and -ologies. I like the acronym “K.I.S.S.” (Keep It Simple Stupid). I have no desire to become a deeper-life theologian. I have no desire to expound an audience with things that God didn't put into the Bible. The most profound truths are implicitly simple.

The following disturbing information appeared in the 2022 Winter issue of Fulfilled! magazine:
Greetings again, friends and foes. We are continuing our deep dive into the Rothschild/Zionist agenda. I’m getting some great emails from you sharing insight into this historic plan to pervert the gospel—a plan which certainly seems to have succeeded. I appreciate the time you take to share. Some have asked for references and footnotes. Those will be in the upcoming book, but I am swamped with notes and formatting and need more time to organize. However, I will give you three of the many resources I am drawing from in the event you wish to do your own research: The Invention of the Jewish People by Shlomo Sand and Yael Lotan, The Thirteenth Tribe by Arthur Koestler, and DNA Science and the Jewish Bloodline by Texe Marrs.

Why is this story important for the preterist community and Fulfilled! Magazine readers? Because regarding the nation of Israel, Zionism is the polar opposite of what we understand about fulfilled prophecy. This Zionist view has derailed, stunted, perverted, and impeded the spread of the “fulfilled gospel” and hindered the Church in its mission. Zionism teaches a future coming of Christ and an earthly kingdom. Here is a perfect example why Zionism should be defeated: In September 2022, Pastor Michael Miano (Blue Point Bible Church, Blue Point, NY) and his family took a Sunday off to visit a local Church in an act of unity in the community. As Pastor Miano and his wife were enjoying the sermon, he received a tap on the shoulder from one of the Church’s leaders. They asked Michael and his family to leave as he is guilty of teaching the “false doctrine” of preterism.

This is what Rothschild, Scofield, Dallas Theological Seminary, Pat Robertson, John Hagee, Tim LaHaye, Billy Graham, and countless others have created; a perverted religion where ignorant segments of the body can’t discern Scripture. Zionism is an ‘antichrist’ spirit. Had Rothschild never engaged the services of Scofield, the Church might have continued on its path of understanding the complete work of Yeshua. We have a huge task in front of us, but don’t you feel the tide turning? I’m sensing it in the social media comments and posts by preterists. Even non-believers are coming to an understanding of how corrupt and wicked the Rothschild family was/is, and how ‘un-Jewish’ Jews truly are. So, hang in there, keep studying history. Dig. Research. Pray. God has lifted the blinders and we need to share all we can. Especially about the loving, forgiving kindness of the Father. Yes, He can and has gotten ‘mighty riled up’ with kinfolk in the past and has every right to do so in the future. But we are His kids, and He loves us, even when He disciplines us!

Darby Plants the Seeds

Before examining Scofield’s life, we need to understand John Nelson Darby, the principle figure from whom Scofield borrowed his biblical analysis. Darby was a Satanist, Freemason, and agent of the Rothschild-owned British East India Company. Darby’s family owned Leap Castle, renowned as the most sinister and occultic castle in Ireland’s history. Darby became a leader of a Christian sect called the Plymouth Brethren. He is generally credited with originating the “Secret Rapture” doctrine and made several trips to America to spread his “vaccine” of heresies.

Darby used many terms in common with occult Theosophists: he referred to Jesus as “the coming one” (the term New Agers use for the Antichrist); referred to God as the “architect” (same phrase employed by Freemasons, meaning “God” for the uninitiated, but “Lucifer” to true initiates); and many other occult phrases. Darby even penned his own satanic version of the Bible. The Illuminati always knew they could not perform a wholesale transformation of the Bible, because it would be recognized and rejected. Therefore, the approach through the centuries has been to whittle it away: a word here, a phrase there—the universal strategy of boiling the frog.

Darby slyly introduced satanic wording into the biblical text. For example, in the King James rendering of John 6:69, Peter told Jesus: “And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.” Darby rendered this: “And we have believed and known that thou art the holy one of God.” In the King James, “Holy one of God” is a title for Jesus used only by demons.

Scofield Spreads Darby Like a Virus

In 1897, Theodore Herzl began hosting the Rothschild-backed Zionist congresses in Switzerland, developing the plan for a Zionist takeover of Palestine. On August 29, 1897, Herzl predicted that within fifty years there would be a Jewish state. And that would have been . . . 1947. Coincidence? Knowing this scheme would require Christian approval, Herzl approached Pope Pius X in 1904, who very politely told him where he could stick his plan. After being rejected by the Catholics, the Rothschilds knew Protestant support would be essential. But this could only be achieved by tampering with the Bible to make it appear God himself had ordained Jews to retake Palestine. Such a Bible needed to come from a non-Jew, someone with credentials as a theologian. And thus emerged Cyrus Scofield and his reference Bible.

Scofield started out as a crooked Kansas lawyer and politician. In 1881, the Atchison Globe reported: “C. I. Schofield [sic], who was appointed United States District Attorney for Kansas in 1873, and who turned out worse than any other Kansas official, is now a Campbellite preacher in Missouri. His wife and two children live in Atchison. He contributes nothing to their support except good advice.”

That same year, the Topeka Daily Capital published this:
“Cyrus I. Schofield [sic], formerly of Kansas, late lawyer, politician and shyster generally, has come to the surface again, and promises once more to gather around himself that halo of notoriety that has made him so prominent in the past. The last personal knowledge that Kansans have had of this peer among scalawags, was when about four years ago, after a series of forgeries and confidence games, he left the state and a destitute family and took refuge in Canada. For a time he kept undercover, nothing being heard of him until within the past two years when he turned up in St. Louis, where he had a wealthy widowed sister living who has generally come to the front and squared up Cyrus’ little follies and foibles by paying good round sums of money. Within the past year, however, Cyrus committed a series of St. Louis forgeries that could not be settled so easily, and the erratic young gentleman was compelled to linger in the St. Louis jail for a period of six months.”
However, court cases against Scofield were inexplicably dropped. As Joseph M. Canfield, who is probably Scofield’s most thorough biographer, noted: “The very sudden dropping of the criminal charges without proper adjudication suggests that Scofield’s career was in the hands of someone who had clout . . .”

Scofield immersed himself in Darby’s teachings and made rapid ecclesiastical progress: by 1881 he was already pastoring in St. Louis, despite having no seminary training or religious education.

In 1882, Scofield moved to Dallas and began an extended term as pastor of the First Congregational Church. Possibly this move was necessitated because his criminal past and familial irresponsibility were too well known in the Kansas-Missouri region. As Rev. John S. Torell wrote:
“There were a number of wealthy and political power brokers in the membership of the First Congregational Church in Dallas . . . I do know that most churches in the United States are heavily infested with Freemasons. George Bannerman Dealey was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in the later part of his life. But he was also heavily involved in the occult, majoring in the Scottish Rite of Masonry with a 33rd degree and active as a Shriner, and was also a member of the Red Cross of Constantine. Most likely he had a hand in getting Cyrus into Masonic circles and particularly the Lotos Club in New York.”
Meanwhile, back in Kansas . . . in 1883, Scofield’s wife Leontine, and her children, were granted a divorce on the grounds of abandonment. Within six months of the divorce, Scofield married a new wife, Hettie.

The apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel” (1st Timothy 5:8). Scofield’s fans gave him a free pass on this teaching and, big surprise, the Scofield Reference Bible makes no commentary on this verse.

Although Scofield became quite wealthy from his reference Bible, there is no evidence that he ever shared his riches with his abandoned family, or ever made restitution to the people whom he had defrauded in Kansas and Missouri.

By 1892 Cyrus began using the title “Dr. Scofield.” However, there is no evidence Scofield ever received a doctorate. He never attended a college or seminary. Again, this deceit was performed to erase any “red flags” from those doubting his new version of the Scriptures.

Regarding the preceding article, I personally believe in a Pretribulation Rapture, based on 1st Corinthians 15:51-58 and 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18. There is ample historic evidence from several centuries ago that the early church fathers believed in a Rapture, which contradicts the claim that John Darby invented the concept in 1830 AD. John Nelson Darby is bad news!!! His JND Bible revision is toxic poison. Darby himself denied the great Bible doctrine of God's imputed righteousness. No genuine saved man would deny imputed righteousness by faith in Christ (Romans 4:4-7). Dear friend, please born any modern Bible revisions that you may own, and please use only the inspired KING JAMES BIBLE. Thank you for reading my blog.

Beware Of False Teacher Dan Corner

Romans 4:4-7, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.”

The inspired Holy Bible is very clear in our text passage that God's righteousness is not by works, because that would make salvation of debt instead of grace. The lost sinner who comes to God as an admitted guilty sinner, and by faith receives Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for their sins, believing that Jesus raised up from the dead three days later, that sinner's faith is counted for righteousness. Nothing more is required or allowed by God for salvation. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

In sharp contrast, Dan D. Corner of EvangelicalOutreach.org teaches something very different, effectively denying God's imputed righteousness. According to Mr. Corner, you must also live a holy life to get to Heaven. Read for yourself his blasphemous plan of damnation...
In a nutshell, the teaching of imputed righteousness from the eternal security view point is: a person once saved is holy and righteous without living holy and righteously. For people who believe in that false version of imputed righteousness, a Christian takes on Jesus' righteousness at the point of salvation and this righteous and holy standing before God can never be changed even by the most vile and heinous evils that could afterwards be committed. They also tell us sometimes: God can't see the Christian's sin. Instead, he only sees Jesus' righteousness, blood and grace, but never the sin! To them, Jesus' holiness and blamelessness is the Christian's forever holiness and blamelessness. That is their teaching of imputed righteousness, which is both demonic and lethal.
SOURCE: 'Imputed Righteousness and Eternal Security,' by Dan Corner

No, what Dan Corner is errantly teaching is demonic and lethal. Mr. Corner is foolishly saying that you cannot go to Heaven without works. That contradicts even the plainest teaching of the Scripture. ...

Romans 3:23-26, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”

Titus 3:5-7, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Romans 6:1, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?”
The more that a believer chooses to sin, the more God's saving grace will abound, so that there will never be any risk of losing God's free gift of eternal life. Dan Corner is 100% wrong!!! I feel sorry for him, because unless Dan repents of his counterfeit ideas of salvation, he won't make it to Heaven when he breathes his last dying breath someday. Only an unsaved man has the wrong mindset that you must perform self-righteous WORKS to get to Heaven.

When some people asked Jesus what “works” they should do for God, Jesus had this to say in John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” The ONLY work which God expects us to do to be saved is to BELIEVE ON JESUS!!! Dan Corner is preaching another gospel.

Pilgrim's Progress author, John Bunyan (1628-1688), well understood this great Bible truth. The following helpful quote from John Bunyan is my favorite preacher quote:
“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan
Sadly, ungodly preachers across the world today are mixing and combining sanctification with justification, and in so doing they are corrupting the Word of God and casting stumblingblocks before the people. A doctrinally sound preacher will put a difference between SERVICE and SALVATION. He will put a difference between DISCIPLESHIP and SONSHIP. He will put a difference between JUSTIFICATION wrought without by the man Christ Jesus (Romans 5:1), versus the SANCTIFICATION wrought within by the Spirit of Christ (Romans 15:16).

The heresy of Lordship Salvation mixes sanctification with justification, and in so doing confuses people. I receive emails on a regular basis, just yesterday in fact, from frustrated people who ask me if they aren't saved because of the sins in their life. According to Dan Corner they are not saved. Dan says eternal security is conditional upon turning from your sins and living a holy life for God. But he cannot support such wicked claims with the Scripture.

Dear reader, your sinful bad habits have absolutely NOTHING to do with God's free gift of salvation. Until you begin to understand that God's gift of eternal life is not conditional upon the way you choose to live, you'll never find perfect peace in your soul. Listen carefully and please don't ever forget this—ETERNAL LIFE IS ETERNAL SECURITY!!! Eternal Life and Eternal Security are NOT two separate Bible doctrines, they are one and the same. In other words, if you already have eternal life you have eternal security.

Dan Corner sadly doesn't believe in the eternal security of the believer. That means he is not wholly trusting Christ's sacrifice on the cross as being sufficient to pay for his debt of sin. Thus, he cannot possibly be a born-again child of God, since he is not fully relying on Christ's finished work of redemption.

Hebrews 4:10-11 plainly teaches that we are saved by ceasing from our own works, and instead resting in Jesus for salvation. Jesus is our Sabbath Day today! God ceased from His 6 days of creative work, and completely rested on the seventh day. The Sabbath Day (a ceremonial law intended only for Old Testament Jews to keep), symbolized Jesus, in whom we completely rest for salvation. This is just another truth from the inspired Word of God which proves that works are not necessary or permitted to get to Heaven.

I hope and pray for Dan Corner to repent of his false hope and get saved before it is too late. Thank you for reading.

Ungodly Bible Colleges Are Ruining Churches

Jeremiah 23:1-2, “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!  saith the LORD. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.”

Please run from Pensacola Christian College (PCC)! I attended Campus Church at PCC for several months in 2021, when I moved to Pensacola from the island of Guam. When I disclosed that I am divorced, the PCC cult immediately ostracized me. Whereas some men had befriended me at first at church, when I mentioned that I was divorced and hoping to find a wife, nobody wanted to sit next to me anymore, like I had COVID-19. You should have saw the looks on their faces when I said I hoped to remarry, which is taboo at PCC.

Sadly, Pastor Jeff Redlin patronized me, making me feel like garbage as a human being. I was 54 years old at the time. I kindly mentioned to Pastor Redlin that I hoped to find a wife at Campus Church, after being divorced and alone for the past 15 years since 2006. I was deeply hurt when he actually scolded me for coming to Campus Church to find a wife. But I had never said that was the reason I came to Campus Church, he ass-u-me-d that.

Redlin has been the senior pastor at PCC since 2018. Not once did he ever offer to pray with me. Not once did he ever express even the slightest sympathy or empathy for my loneliness, health issues, and that I was surviving out of a suitcase in a cheap motel at the time. Pastor Redlin gets paid a 6-digit disgusting salary annually, spoiled rotten. There is no compassion or love at PCC. The cult system always comes first, but individual people do not matter. You will learn this if you go there.

I am not trying to be unkind, I am being very honest—Pastor Jeff Redlin woefully lacks God's unconditional love for people, for broken sinners. Timothy Zacharias (assistant pastor) is no better, cold-hearted and as phony as can be. All they care about is doing their job and getting paid. Their actions speaks much loudly their their words do, hypocrites.

I am a thankful graduate of Hyles-Anderson College (1985-1993). Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) wasn't perfect (and he was the first to admit it), but he genuinely loved everybody. I love and miss Brother Hyles. I learned compassion for sinners from Dr. Hyles, something that PCC hasn't learned since 1975 when they started. Pastor Hyles is right—PCC are academics, not church builders, so they lack compassion for people. People just want to be loved. I left Campus Church in late 2021, broken-hearted and frustrated at the woeful lack of love or compassion for people at PCC. A dead spirit permeates the place, religion without a genuine walk with God.

During the time I attended PCC's Campus Church, the place felt spiritually dry, missing the presence of the Holy Spirit. The music is pretty, but it is shallow. Even worse, PCC teaches a wrong understanding of Bible repentance. Whereas Bible repentance is simply a change of mind, PCC's official doctrinal position is that to get to Heaven you must “follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins.” That is works, not grace. You'll find the preceding quote in the booklet of "John & Romans" distributed by Campus Church at PCC. They just delivered a copy to my home's mailbox in Pensacola where I live.

I was so lonely in 2022 that I contacted Campus Church and PCC, in two separate letters that I mailed to them, sincerely apologizing for criticizing them on social media, and pleading to come back to church. But they cold-heartedly refused. Pastor Redlin emailed me to say that I am permanently banned from returning to Campus Church. He didn't lift a finger to try to reconcile with me. They are immature at PCC. These people are religious thugs! I love everybody, God knows my heart. In hindsight, I never should have requested to go back to a cult, and I believe God was protecting me. Loneliness is a difficult thing to cope with.

Kindly said, PCC is a cult of snobby married people who look down on divorced Christians. They will reject, ostracize and look down their long Pharisaical noses on anyone who is divorced and ever hopes to remarry. In their mind, you are supposed to suffer the rest of your life and pretend that you don't have a libido. They are out of touch with reality at PCC. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 7:1 that every man should have a wife, and every woman a husband.

I have been a born-again believer since age 13 in 1980. I know love when I see it, and indifference when I see it. PCC is woefully lacking in love for people. They are indifferent, refusing to contend for the faith, or reach out to hurting people who have been driven away by their unfriendliness. I don't recommend that anyone go to the PCC camp for any reason, unless you want to be influenced by their shallow, lame and abusive authoritarian religious cult. The system at PCC always comes first, but individuals do not matter. That is the bottom line.

A lady asked me if she should work at PCC. You definitely don't want to work at this intolerant place. Every vehicle that enters PCC's campus to attend Campus Church is scrutinized by security, which is creepy if you ask me. Search online for Samantha Field, a PCC alumnus. Prepare to be shocked. They treated alumni Peter Gage an Allen Armentrout like trash, as they do anybody who offends them. You're not allowed to be an individual person at PCC, you must conform to the cult.

PCC sued Peter for $100,000. PCC has no loyalty to anyone except their own, and they will hurt and expel anyone who dares to challenge their cult authority. It is sad and shameful the way PCC goes through all the motions, but without Christ's unconditional love for people—the very same people that they falsely claim to care about. PCC is training future religious leaders and pastors, which is tragic. The apple rarely falls farther than the tree. Thank you kindly for reading. People just want to be loved.

New IFB Cult Redefines Faith

John 11:25-26, “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”

There is a horrible false doctrine being preached in New IFB (Independent Fundamental Baptist) churches today, which errantly says that a lost sinner cannot be saved without calling, asking or praying to be saved. The Bible does not agree with that teaching! The following shameful video is FALSE DOCTRINE, published on YouTube by the New IFB...

New IFB Cult Redefines Faith

Wow, Pastor Jonathan Shelley is getting weird. He is espousing strange doctrine, as are other New IFB pastors. This is tragic. In a foolish attempt to prove that you have to "ask" to be saved, I heard Pastor Steven Anderson cite 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟰:𝟭𝟬, "𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗲, 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸; 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿."

Ironically, if you read the rest of John chapter 4, not once did anyone ever ask Jesus to save them, the Bible says they simply "believed." 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟰:𝟯𝟵, "𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱, 𝗛𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱." 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟰:𝟰𝟭-𝟰𝟮, "𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱; 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻, 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱." These Scripture passages refute the false claim by the New IFB that a sinner cannot be saved unless they "ask" or "call" on the name of Jesus to be saved. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do. We need to expose this heresy!

I love something that Dr. Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) said: "A good rule to follow when interpreting the Bible is to never use an obscure passage to contradict a clear one." Sadly, New IFB pastors are selectively reading the Holy Bible. They are basing a false doctrine on a tiny handful of Bible verses, while totally ignoring the whole Gospel of John. In John we find the word "believe" mentioned 85 times. But not once do we find anyone "asking" Jesus to save them in the Gospel of John.

In the preceding heretical video by Jonathan Shelley, he says that no one in the Bible ever got saved without asking. That is a FALSE claim! As we just saw in John 4:39 and 41-42, the Samaritans did NOT call or ask, they simply believed on Jesus.

When I attended Hyles-Anderson College for 8 years between 1985 and 1993 when I gratefully graduated, I never led anybody to Christ without leading them to pray, because that is how I was taught by Dr. Hyles. There is nothing wrong with that per se, because we were taught to make sure that the person knows it is faith and not praying that saves you. You can hear Pastor Jack Hyles teach this truth for yourself in this helpful applicable sermon titled:

Fundamentalist Heresy
(by Dr. Jack Hyles, 1926-2001)

If you listen to the preceding beautiful sermon, you will hear Dr. Hyles about 15-16 minutes into the sermon plainly refute the heresy that you must "pray" to be saved.

Having said that, because of my own battle with the assurance of my salvation for several years, I no longer lead lost people to pray a sinner's prayer. Praying is NOT the Bible method to be saved. We are saved simply by BELIEVING. In Acts 2:41 when the Apostle Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost, nobody asked to be saved. Acts 2:41 simply says that 3,000 of the thousands of Jews present, "gladly received" his word and were saved. They just believed.

Likewise, in Acts chapter 10 we read about Cornelius, an Italian centurion over 100 soldiers. Cornelius was a good man who prayed, gave alms, fasted and prayed, but he was not saved. So God arranged for a meeting between the Apostle Peter and Cornelius, so that he could hear the Gospel. In Acts 10:43-44 we read that as Peter preached the Gospel, they were filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit. That is, they beloved what they heard and were saved.

In Galatians 3:2 the Apostle Paul asked the Galatian churches if they were indwelt with the Spirit (saved) by keeping the works of the law, or BY THE HEARING OF FAITH. That is how you get saved—you simply BELIEVE in the "Good News" when you hear it preached. Calling, praying or asking to be saved is NOT necessary.

Albeit, I humbly don't think "asking" Jesus to save you hinders a lost sinner from being saved. I asked Jesus to save me when I was 13 years old, but I did it in ignorance. It is a natural response to call upon the name of the Lord from a believing heart. There is NOTHING wrong with asking, calling or praying in response to one's heart's faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But there is something VERY WRONG with saying that a sinner cannot be saved unless they call, ask or pray, when the Bible simply tells us to BELIEVE ON JESUS. To require someone to call, ask or pray is false and unbiblical.

God saved me, because my pray was rooted in faith. I now know that I could have just as easily believed on His name to be saved. It bothers me when preachers wrest the Scriptures. The Bible teaches in Romans 10:14 that we call because we believe. However, it is heresy to say that someone cannot be saved without praying a prayer to ask Jesus to save you. I am astonished that New IFB pastors totally ignore Jesus' words in 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟲:𝟮𝟴-𝟮𝟵, "𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗺, 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱? 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺, 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁." I didn't see any mention of asking, calling or praying, did you?

In the preceding video Pastor Jonathan Shelley is horribly accusing Dr. Curtis Hutson, Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold, Dr. Max Younce, Dr. Jack Hyles, Pastor Harry Ironside, Onorato Diamante, myself and other free grace preachers "wicked" and saying that we preach "another gospel." That is WRONG!!!

Dr. Mark G. Cambron Explains Bible Repentance

Here is an excellent and needful writing by Dr. Mark G. Cambron (1911-2000) on the subject of REPENTANCE. Please read the following quote carefully, because Dr. Cambron is one of few learned theologian who gets it correct, that is, he understands the simplicity of the Gospel and that repentance does not mean "turn from your sin" (contrary to what the proponents of Satan's lie of Lordship Salvation foolishly teach).
𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
The Greek word for repent is metanoeo, which, translated into English is: to change ones mind. It does not mean to turn from sin. That would add works to salvation.

Repentance for salvation means a change of mind from men's ideas of salvation and religion, to an acceptance of Gods only way of salvation.

This results in a completely new creation, not a reformation of the old. The old nature remains as evil as ever after salvation and has not been reformed . . . The old nature can now be controlled by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit.

God guarantees salvation. This is His gift to us.
God guarantees reward and fruit to the obedient son.
God guarantees chastening and loss of rewards to the disobedient son.

God does not cast out disobedient children, but in some cases, does take them home. He does not permit His children to live as they please without His discipline and guidance.

Many teach repentance for salvation incorrectly, by including some form of human effort or righteousness, such as willingness to turn from sin, or turning from sin. This is heresy and has confused many people. It adds works to salvation and causes many to not understand Gods great gift. It is probation, not salvation. It is completely unscriptural. It is Galatianism and a counterfeit of the gospel.

It is a tragedy that many Christians live shallow Christian lives. The Cambron Institute is dedicated to the task of training Christian men and women in the importance of total dedication and making Jesus the Lord of their lives not to be saved but because they are saved.

Shallow Christianity cannot be cured by adding works to salvation.

Salvation is not the result of what we do, but is by receiving what God has done for us. Acts 13:38, 39; Acts 20:20: Gal. 1:8,9; Gal. 2:4; Gal. 2:21; Gal. 3:1.3; Gal. 5:1-4; Eph. 2:8-10; II Cor. 5:21;John 3:16-18; Phil. 3:9; Titus 3:5-8:11 Cor. 11:13-1 5.
Boy, that was great! Thank God for the few doctrinally sound preachers that He has blessed us with. Sadly, over 95% of pastors, missionaries, evangelists, religious professors and church laymen today are Bible ignoramuses, parroting heresy that they've heard taught by other heretics. Be a Berean! Search the Scriptures daily and learn to be objective by thinking for yourself. ...

Galatians 2:20-21 Proves That Lordship Salvation Is Wrong

Galatians 2:20-21, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”

As we just read, the inspired King James Bible teaches that Christ lives in the believer. That is, every believer has God's gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Romans 8:9, “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” The Bible is very plain—if you do not have God's Holy Spirit living inside, you are not saved. 1st John 3:24, “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” This is the test of the Epistle of 1st John to determine if you are saved (1st John 5:13)—do you have the Holy Spirit living inside you?

Now, we just read that it is Jesus (in the form of the Holy Spirit) who lives in us. No saint of God can live the Christian life in our own strength; but rather, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” I hope you understand that dear reader. You cannot live the Christian life on your own. We can only live the Christian life by yielding to the leading and conviction of God's Holy Spirit, who lives inside our spirit, soul and body.

Having said that as introduction, I could show you umpteen quotes from the Jehovah's Witnesses, Roman Catholics, Mormons, Seventh-Day Adventists and other pseudo-Christian cults today, who teach that salvation is a free gift without works, but then they hypocritically say you must forsake your sinful ways to be saved.

Here is one example from the Mormons...
"To repent we need to recognize and feel sorry for what we’ve done wrong, do whatever is possible to repair the damage it may have caused, and to leave our sinful behavior behind. Repentance can be difficult and requires a lot of honesty, but the joy and freedom we feel when we turn away from our sins are well worth the effort. Because Christ suffered for our sins, we can be forgiven when we repent. That’s why the Atonement is so important to all of us."

SOURCE: Jesus Christ | Mormon.org
Now here is Pastor John MacArthur, practically saying the same garbage verbatim:
“Don’t believe anyone who says it’s easy to become a Christian. Salvation for sinners cost God His own Son; it cost God’s Son His life, and it’ll cost you the same thing. Salvation isn’t gained by reciting mere words. Saving faith transforms the heart, and that in turn transforms behavior. Faith’s fruit is seen in actions, not intentions. There’s no room for passive spectators: words without actions are empty and futile.” [emphasis added]

SOURCE: Dr. John MacArthur, 'Grace To You,' an updated quote from his ungodly book 'Hard To Believe,' page 93
Do you see what they have wickedly done? Instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to turn us from sin as we yield to Him as a born-again child of God, Mormons and John MacArthur have made repentance from your sins as the mechanism by which you must be willing to change your behavior to be saved. Please don't miss that! Dear friend, you cannot turn from your sins!!! I said you CANNOT turn away from your sinning! That is the whole reason why Jesus died on a cross to pay for your sins and mine. That is why the inspired Holy Bible warns in Galatians 2:21, “I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” You cannot turn from your sinful bad habits to be saved, which is why Christ came into the world to pay for your sins on the cross with His blood.

As we read in Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Turning from your sins is self-reformation!!! Nowhere in the inspired King James Bible are we taught that to be saved we must repent “of your sins” or “turn from your sins” to get to Heaven. The Bible simply says to BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 16:30-31). The only requirement to BELIEVE ON JESUS is to admit that you are a guilty sinner in God's sight (Romans 3:19-20). That's it!

Jesus died on a cross to pay for your sins. He was buried. Three days later Jesus resurrected from the dead. These three things comprise “THE GOSPEL” (i.e., the “GOOD NEWS”), by which all who BELIEVE IT are saved. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” We are saved by BELIEVING THE GOSPEL!!! We are not saved by turning away from our sins, nor by being willing to give up our sinful bad habits, which would be works instead of grace.

As you can see, John MacArthur is in league with the Devil, the Mormon cult! The devil is in the details. If you want further evidence to verify what I am showing you, please listen to John MacArthur himself, who says that the Mormons agree with his perverse Lordship Salvation gospel so much, that MacArthur's books are required reading at Brigham Young University in Utah. Oh my! Dear reader, please RUN away from John MacArthur and the Mormons!!!

Here is another example of how professed Christians today are being deceived by the Devil...

Shame On WTYG Radio For Preaching Lordship Salvation

Kindly, these people are perverting the Gospel. Here is their suggested prayer to be saved:
Lord, I know that I am a sinner. If I died today, I would not go to heaven. Forgive my sin, come into my life and be my Savior. Help me live for you from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 —WTYG Christian Radio
Asking Jesus to "come into my life" is not a part of God's simple plan of salvation. Nor is it part of the Gospel that you "Help me live for you from this day forward." It is Lordship Salvation!!!
Furthermore, not one word is mentioned about Jesus' death on the cross to pay for our sins, His burial or bodily resurrection three days later. I mean, that is "the gospel" after all according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. I have come to realize that the primary purpose of my Facebook page is to help teach professed Christians what is wrong with their distorted views of the Gospel. To that I say, Praise the Lord! Somebody needs to do it, so I gladly volunteer!

This is the consequential result of fools like Pastor Jeff Redlin, who just sent a perverted plan of salvation to tens of thousands of Florida residents. Pastor Redlin and his clown associates (like Tim Zacharias), and complicit PCC leaders as well, have MUCH blood on their hands!!! No one can be saved by turning from their sinful bad habits!!! That is works, not grace.
The truth is that nobody can turn from their sins, which is the whole reason why Jesus had to die on a cross to pay for our sins. God pity today's messed up Baptist churches. The very ones who should be telling lost sinners how to be saved are damning their souls to an eternity burning in the fires of Hell.

Turning from your sins is self-reformation, not Bible repentance. Judas turned from his sins in Matthew 27:3. The word "repented" (Greek: metamellomai, which means, "to regret") here is a different word, than "repent" (Greek: metanoia, which means, "a change of mind") that is always used in regards to salvation. Judas was sorry. He even returned the 30 pieces of silver (the going price for a slave) to the wicked Pharisees. He was a changed man. Judas turned from his sins, so he thought, but still died in His sins and went to Hell forever without Christ. You don't turn from your sins and partially trust Christ to get saved, you wholly trust in Christ who paid for your sins with His precious blood through Calvary's cross.

As we have learned in this blog, Galatians 2:20 teaches that Jesus lives the Christian life through each saint, IF we will choose to walk in the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25), by yielding to the Holy Spirit's leading to obey God's written Word (2nd Corinthians 10:5-6). This is something entirely different, than YOU turning away from your own sins as a prerequisite to saving faith (which is a counterfeit plan of works-based-slavation). Self-reformation (nor a desire to self reform) is required or permitted in God's simple plan of salvation. You must wholly put your trust in Jesus Christ alone, because of what He has already DONE through Calvary's cross to pay your debt of sin.

SIMPLY BELIEVE THAT JESUS DID IT ALL FOR YOU! That is how you get to Heaven, and not by repenting to turn from your sinning. Jonah 3:10, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” Works never saved anybody (Romans 3:19-20).

Also, nobody repented more in the Bible than God. Exodus 32:14, “And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.” Did God turn from His sins? Did God turn from His sinful way? No, God simply changed His mind, which is what repentance means in the Bible. If you would like to learn in depth about repentance, here are two helpful MP3 audio sermons by one of my favorite preachers, Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold:
The Devil is behind today's corrupt Bible revisions, which have blatantly changed and perverted the Words of the Living God. Jeremiah 23:36, “And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.” It is no light thing to tamper with God's Word. It is no trifle matter to change the Bible's meaning of “repent” from simply “a change of mind,” to instead mean “turn from your sin.” Clearly, these two definitions are world's apart. When Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden, he tried to turn from his sin by sewing together some fig leaves to cover his nakedness, and that of his wife Eve. But God rejected Adam's fig leaf religion, and instead killed an innocent animal (which pictured the sinless slain innocent Lamb of God for our sins), to provide clothing for Adam and Eve.

Cain, the son of Adam and Eve, tried to turn from his sin by offering God the best crops that his field's harvest could produce. But the Lord rejected Cain's offering, because it was rooted in his own self-righteousness instead of faith in the coming Messiah. The truth is that we are saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ; and then once saved Jesus lives through us, as we walk by faith, which is exactly what Galatians 2:20 teaches:
Galatians 2:20-21, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”
So, in fact, you DON'T have to “turn from your sins” or “be willing to forsake your sinful bad habits” to receive God's free gift of eternal life, because to turn from your sin would be works. The new birth is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty! The Bible says that Jesus lives in us when we get saved, as the blessed indwelling Holy Spirit. Romans 8:9 calls the Holy Spirit that “Spirit of Christ.” John 14:23, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” This Scripture teaches that God the Father and God the Son come to live inside every saint, in the form of God the Holy Spirit.

The lost neo-evangelical crowd at Bob Jones University and Pensacola Christian College today, place the burden of dealing with sin upon the lost sinner's shoulders.

I was shocked on page 60, when I read Pensacola Christian College's counterfeit plan of salvation, in a booklet that their Campus Church mailed to my house (and thousands of other residents of Pensacola). I just received the booklet in my mailbox on November 1, 2023. What I am about to show you is straight from Satan dear reader:
“REPENTANCE — Now is the time to turn from your sin and embrace God. The act of turning away from sin is called 'repentance.' This word implies an inward decision to follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins. It means changing your mind about sin and seeing it as something that grieves God. The Bible says that God patiently waits for all people to make this decision.”

SOURCE: “John & Romans,” Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College, p. 60
Do you still think I bumped my head? I've been exposing the cult at Bob Jones University (BJU) since 2014, and now I have been exposing the cult at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) since 2021. By God's grace, I will continue to expose these wicked organizations.

To make matters even worse, on page 62 of the “John & Romans” booklet, Campus Church tells the reader that to be saved, you must make a mental check requiring the reader to agree to:
“I repent of my sins. I realize that sin is something that God hates and I no longer want to hold onto sinful bad habits in my life.”

Oh my God! Folks, this is NOT part of the Gospel which the Apostle Paul preached in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4...
1st Corinthians15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”
There you have it! The “Gospel” is the “GOOD NEWS” that Jesus Christ DIED on a cross for our sins, He was BURIED and after three days He physically RESURRECTED from the dead. In Paul's Gospel (which Paul said he received directly from Jesus in Galatians 1:12), did you see anything that reads: “follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins”? No, that is not what Paul taught. So why is PCC and their Campus Church promoting this filth? PCC and Campus Church are pulling on the same rope as the Devil.

You don't turn from your sins as qualification to trust Christ to be saved; but rather, God saves you when, by faith, you receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that He was buried and then raised up from the dead three days later for your justification. Acts 3:26, “Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.” Carefully notice that Jesus does the turning, NOT YOU, from your sins. I wrote a whole blog on this one Bible verse from Acts 3:26. Thank you for reading my blog. To God be ALL the credit, praise and glory (John 15:5). Jesus is precious!!!

The Crystal Clear Gospel Of Jesus Christ

1st Corinthians 1:17, “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.”

Don't muddy the Gospel. Explain it simply so it can be understood by the hearer.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the most significant element of the Christian faith.

Needless to say, the Gospel should be preached at church and I firmly believe at every occasion.

The Apostle Paul separated himself from others according to the clear Gospel message of Christ. Romans 1:1, “Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God...
” The Gospel is where he divided himself from another.

The clear Gospel message should be the foundation of where a church stands. If one does not get the Gospel saving message correct, then they are likely to err in other understandings of Scripture. ...
Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is made possible through His sinless shed blood—His death, burial, and bodily resurrection—as the full substitute payment which saves a sinner from eternal damnation in the fires of Hell, when believed by faith.

The Apostle Paul plainly defines the Gospel in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4...

If the Gospel is tampered with at all and not explained vividly, it can lose its saving effect. Notice the verses below. ...
1st Corinthians 1:17, “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.”

2nd Corinthians 11:3, “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”

Galatians 4:5, “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.”
This is a harsh reality, and a real tragedy which is going on in many so-called “Christian” churches today. These are dangerous religious cults, not New Testament churches. Every Bible-believing church should give a clear presentation of the Gospel, and invitation in the pew to accept Jesus Christ alone as Savior by personal faith.

I’m a stickler for a clear presentation of the Gospel. So should you and every born-again believer be.

Salvation is not a sinner promising to turn from sin, sorrow for sin, or giving their heart and life to Jesus so that He will save them. Salvation has nothing to do with our promises or gifts to Christ. Salvation is simply us accepting Jesus’ satisfactory payment on the cross of Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. We simply trust in Jesus alone to save us (Acts 16:31, Romans 4:5, 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, Ephesians 2:8-9).

Jesus gave His life for us (Galatians 1:4, 1st Timothy 2:6, Titus 2:14); we don’t give anything to Christ for salvation. ...
Galatians 2:21, “I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”
If we make salvation about us or something we promise to do for God, then salvation is no longer a gift, but we earned it (Romans 4:16, 11:6). A sinner must understand they have nothing to offer Christ, but simply trust in Him alone to save them by accepting His substitutionary payment for their sins.

Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty!

Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.

If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from?

No one can turn from sin, which is why Jesus had to die on the cross to pay for our sins.

The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

I do not believe I am splitting hairs, because as seen from numerous Scriptures above the Apostle Paul was just as dogmatic. Galatians 1:6-7 plainly teaches that there is only ONE Gospel. It cannot be possible that two plans of salvation exist. So, you either have to be willing to forsake the sinful bad habits in your life to be saved, or you do not, but it simply cannot be both ways to get to Heaven. Jesus Christ Himself said in John 6:28-29 that the only “
work” we can do to be saved is to BELIEVE ON HIM. Nothing more is permitted, or else you cannot be saved.

Sadly, Pensacola Christian College (PCC) preaches another gospel of partial faith in Christ plus works to be saved, which cannot produce the new birth. Shame on PCC and their ungodly Campus Church. I fully agree with my ministry friend Michael P. Bowen, who wrote:
I am at eternal odds with the false, counterfeit messages of salvation-by-works that are taught from virtually every pulpit today, on every television channel, and on every Christian radio station; however, I am not at eternal odds with the individuals who preach these counterfeit messages. My heart literally goes out to all of them because they simply do not understand Christ’s plan of salvation. They have been lied to by a crafty enemy named Satan, whose sole aim is to take as many people with him to the lake of fire as he can possibly manage to steal away from God using a counterfeit plan of salvation that appears so real, so genuine, and so holy that few ever realize they have been deceived by it. Oh reader, so many of today’s professing Christians who think they are going to heaven when they die are not going to make it to heaven as they had assumed because they’ve been lied to by today’s error-filled gospel messages.

So why is PCC and their Campus Church promoting this filth? Sad, very said. Michael Bowen is so right, nearly all of today's pulpits, television channels, radio stations, websites and religious colleges are teaching a counterfeit message of salvation-by-works. Dear reader, faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.
